Why would the Ravens draft Harris when they just drafted JK Dobbins?

I love Dobbie, he does look like the future, but they run the Ball a LOT, and they have always used a RB by committee. after picking up a WR at 27 they get another Offensive weapon that matches the style of play they want to run. Perhaps it could be argued that they would look at a tackle, but I thought Harris was too much talent to ignore, and remember they are looking for a Right Tackle....

Just my take

They need an edge rusher and a WR. As well as a T even if they sign Alejandro.

Agree, you make very good points and you are obviously very well informed about the Ravens, and it would not surprise me if the Ravens targeted edge with either of the 1st rounders they have.

They struggled to get after the QB last year and lost Judon and Ngakoue (he was a little disappointing), so yeah, I could see them targeting edge rushers early and often.

I look forward to seeing your draft, you seem like you understand the needs of various teams, and I must admit that I don't know all the teams around the League, so some of this is based upon perceived needs of the team aligned with the projected highest player at a position of need.

Why would the Ravens draft Harris when they just drafted JK Dobbins?

I think the Steelers could take Najee at 24, but I went conservative with my approach and took OL

Dobbins shows promise and Im not drafting Najee to downplay that, Im drafting Najee to complement this. A true Thunder/Lighting rotation. Plus after having experience with another ALA RB, Ingram, I think DeCosta would really consider adding the size to his attack. If Najee didnt have catching ability I would have passed.

If they didnt have two 1st, I would have taken just a WR in RD 1. Given the depth of OL in this class, I would have them going OL in later rounds. Edge is needed and with Ojulari, Rousseau, Oweh still on the board in my mock, I can see them taking them. Shit I could see others taking them too.

I just have an affinity with the conservative OL approach and it really swayed my mock in a particular way. Given the value of Edge Rushers and say Owehs ELITE measurables. My mock is highly flawed, especially with the lack of EDGE in rd 1. BUT I was buzzed and it is what it is - im not changing it.

Since im not 'changing it' and there are no rules for more than one entry, I pull a Bucky Brooks and go a sober 2.0.

Honestly I want to laugh at this, but I don't have a fucking clue as to how this will go. Which is no different than any other year I suppose.
