Phew:

That was a close one. I was like why did KNicks have to shoot 60% on 3s against us - especially now that they have nothing to play for.

MVP:

Hinrich: He gets the game ball for this one. It seemed like he was the only one who cared this game and if it wasn't for him, we would have lost in double digits. Gotta give him BIG props.

Good/Solid:

Rose/Salmons: Both played solid game. Rose hurt his wrist again and he was hesitant and tried his best with the bad wrist, if it wasn't for the wrist, I think he would have done a lot better. Salmons had a GREAT all around game. 19/6/6 with 5 steals :eek:hmy: that was awesome.

OK:

Tyrus/Gordon: both did their things somewhat but weren;t impressive. Tyrus with couple of great blocks though and Gordon made few shots when we needed at few times.

Bad:

Vinny. Couldn't adjust much and Dantoni was killing him at times.

Horrible:

Noah/Miller: They were so horrible on Defense especially, I wanted throw all the shoes I had in my closet at them. Miller couldn't even make any layups and was just crying for fouls instead of making simple plays.

Agree 100% especially on the bad play or Brad tonight. He was throwing up some ugly shots.

Another moral loss.

I'll take it. It wasn't pretty especially when we couldn't get anything done at the end of the game for so long and let NY back in, but we still escape with the win.

Magic Number down to 2.

Terrible D, bad coaching, and the knicks rally in the final 2 minutes.

I don't think the team is thinking that way. Thats what I thought he was implying moral loss to. You should be use to bad defense and coaching by now

Probably b/c the bulls played terrible defense, again, tonight. On top of that, the trend of being up by 8-12 points with 3 minutes to go, then completely collapsing during crunch time and barely winning gets very old when it happens time after time.

However, with this team, you take any win you can get.

I don't think this is a moral loss. In the playoffs, there are no moral losses, only losses. I think the same applies in a playoff race.

I think this is one of those games where you just write it off and take nothing from it. The Knicks are a team that can sloppy things up, and that's exactly what they did tonight. Bulls fell into it. They won't be playing crap ball with the Knicks again this year, so I think they should really block out most things from this game.

I agree there is no moral loss. Knicks were just shooting lights out from the 3 and that opened up the game for others. IMO, if Duhon could just shoot, KNicks would have won the game but Duhon's pathetic Shooting/scoring ability helped us win the game.

Let's just move on. We played pretty patheit D for like 45 minutes of the game and just did enough to win it.

I will take the win and FLY.

Moral loss or not, you guys are right, they key is that we WON...bottom line.

Time to flush this game (even though it was a W), and focus on the next one.

Deng would have gotten the ball, held it at the 3 pt line, dribbled and missed his mid-range J.

Im glad we won, but give the Knicks some credit. They were shooting lights out. Now Noah and Millers defense was atrocious in the 3rd against Harrington, but everyone else had a hand in their face. Especially with Q and Chandler. They just couldnt miss.

Ive watched the Knicks all year and I was getting worried because this was one of the games that they usually win when they shoot hot.

But Kirk and then Tyrus was HUGE defensively that sealed the game for us.

Kirk definitely carried us offensively tonight.

And Gordon nearly blew the game with that quick shot in the final 30 seconds...WTF was that!

I don't think the Gordon shot was terrible. Either way, New York was going to get the ball with a decent amount of time on the clock.

Gordon had a good look at the basket, and he just missed. He did one of those Dwyane Wade bank shots that he incorporated into his game this year. The only problem is that he doesn't quite have the shot down. Those D-Wade bank shots Gordon's been trying need another offseason in the oven before they're good, effective shots.
