Like I said to others on other threads to me this is why you trade down. Will Will Will can't miss. Look at it now against somewhat comparable talent he's invisible. When your a good player on probably top three most talented teams in whole college it's very easy to look good. What is record of tackles against equal talent? Same with Carter those that say is beyond dumb to stack picks and depth. In the NFL there is a massive talent increase all I'm saying is do the homework and stop being star struck. Watch the game against Kansas state not even best of the best and tell me he's a game changer we MUST HAVE. I don't see it, I've watched these guys all year too it's a gamble like any other draft or position. If there's a offer that works take it.

I think you're saying you want a trade back in the first?

Yes if we get a good deal. I just kinda vented bcuz this is the first month of about five that will have salesmen trying to sell me a potential dream. Enough dreams I'm for odds and percentages three picks for one raises chances.

Im all for a trade back. But if the Bears end up with Carter or Anderson that isn't the worst thing in the world.

I have felt the same with Anderson when I've watched a number of their games, he doesn't show up, curious to see Carter tonight.

Anderson didn’t wreck shit. That K State line was not NFL caliber. They do have a potential pick with their guard, Beebe, or something like that, but nothing huge from their tackles.

I’ve been saying that I don’t see it with him. I just don’t. As far as Carter. I’d just rather have the picks from a trade down. He may be the best, but there is other talent.

Seems to me a lot of posters are hoping for the trade down.

Can Poles pull it off for good compensation?

Trade down > making sure we get the supposed elite D prospects.

But having said that, this also highlights the importance of a pass rush. OSU looks unstoppable as Stroud has so much time.

Which is why Anderson should be the first defender drafted. Just flatly has the most sack production among the top dudes.

This almost sounds like the "Mack isn't being effective " false narrative a couple years back.

I think while Anderson didn't have a big splash play, he did have an effect on Kstate's offense.

He very well may have had a bad game.

Doesn't change that he has a 30 TFL and 17 sack season under his belt. And added another 17/10 season this year. A decline from his historic soph year but still better production than anyone else mocked in the 1st.

I know it’s one game, but this is a bad performance from Carter. Id trade back and take a kings ransom.

He would have had to be on the field to be effective. All I saw was a guy standing on the sidelines most of the game

Define bad game. I'm not sure I understand. Missed tackles? Beat in coverage?
I don't count not having a TFL or sack as a bad game.
