Define bad game. I'm not sure I understand. Missed tackles? Beat in coverage?
I don't count not having a TFL or sack as a bad game.
Not getting a lot of pressure, hurries, and getting blocked solo a lot? Looking gassed.

He just got a tipped ball tho.

Seems to me a lot of posters are hoping for the trade down.

Can Poles pull it off for good compensation?
I hope so and I'm not crapping on these players either I just look at the totality of the situation. Best team, NFL talent all around them and yes their schedules do include in conference games but also include App state and Kentucky state kine schools. Where is the caliber of competition we are measuring by? We have one shot at this we don't want to be the lions with a decade of top three picks ?. Dabears I don't grade picks for your answer just saying if a good fair offer is there man we need talent and especially depth. Our team played better than our record. Hogs in the middle keep QB upright and on defense make LBs and secondary easier they just does. Hampton/McMichael for Singletary Traylor/Tank for Urlacher. If you don't protect your QB can't score if you can't get to their QB can't stop them from scoring. I think we can agree on that theory.

This almost sounds like the "Mack isn't being effective " false narrative a couple years back.

I think while Anderson didn't have a big splash play, he did have an effect on Kstate's offense.
Not at all Mack was ineffective BUT it wasn't his fault with double teams all game. Did he not play his best when Hicks played? We need to find our Hicks before we worry about our Mack. With the right studs in the middle of the line on passing and running I think honestly our edge guys could do some damage.
