I have a lot of chit to look forward to resolving to do in 2019 and it is going to take some planning. Also, new year's resolutions are kinda dumb anyways when you think about it, if you have big schemes, new goals, behavioral modifications or habits you want to create, why not start early?

In light of this I am making a pre-new year's resolution that I thought I would share with ccs as it affects some users here.

In an effort to get a jump on the new habits and goals I've set for myself in 2019 (actually starting in 2018 - as of December 5th) I am going to CEASE USING THE REP SYSTEM ON CCS.

This means that all the people who have become accustomed to waking up in the morning and having notifications of an encouraging or validating personal response to a post you've made, those wont be from me. Also for anyone dreading clicking that notification knowing you've been slagged off on with an in your face, sometimes rude comment about the crappy thing you wrote in some thread, it wont be a dislike from this guy.

It's all about priorities imo and making positive changes. Anyone else have any pre-new year's resolutions? I.e. things you are going to do to gear up for 2019?

My pre and post x-years resolution is in crystal clear 4k - 6 pack and literally hardcore glutes n shoulders. That's it. After I prioritize my temple and turn it into a massive castle, I'll be perfectly content because the rest of my life is amazing.

Also, I disliked the OP

I am going to CEASE USING THE REP SYSTEM ON CCS.

Me too, but that's not a resolution that was a promise I made to Warden.

My resolution will be to try and be more tolerant of the intolerant.

One for the road, I disliked HHM's intolerant ass.

Thank you and Gosh Bless. I was just about to screenshot and report some negs you have sent me but will hold off on that now.

Just heard the news, and I am so sad. Please reconsider and postpone this decision until 2020

I will continue to use the thanks feature.

Somewhat related, I'm hearing that the use of "disliking" could put CCS access in jeopardy depending on the individual using it and who he/she is using it on. Apparently there are posters who feel abused by negs and are reporting the activity, so this resolution I've made looks to have been a wise decision when framed withing the larger picture of the new moderation climate! Serendipity!

Are these CCS Resolutions or personal IRL Resolutions?

Both!

Like Novak I'm doing beachbody ab work rn, instead of waiting until Jan 1. Also lifting heavier/more diverse and cutting back on cardio (hence less time to look for posts to dislike/rep because I'm not on a stationary bike 2.5 hours a week now)
