Crawford back in net for the Hawks. Brookbank in as the 6th D. Saw reports that Roszival and Rundblad are scratches which should mean that Peter Regin is back in the lineup.

Gonna be at work in a gymnasium with horrible reception so doubt I'm going to be able to watch. Two points the Hawks should get.

If we beat the Blues in the playoffs I will be happy. But yeah it doesn't look like there's gonna be another parade this year

Hawks/Avs, Round 1. You can pretty much bet on that happening now.

One word - meh.

Well, maybe that wasn't a word ( caught it live on the feed) - nice goal by Toews although by all rights that one should never have happened - the Preds were all over the Hawks, and deserved the 2 points. They outworked Chicago badly in this one.

Feels like the Hawks slump every year in March. And, well ... here it is.

Sharp and Kane played good all around... And hey Regin had a nice physical game. Maybe he should get another shot after the 1 period he had at 2nd live center.. Maybe

Regin ... the Danish Wayne Gretzky (ok not complaining about Regin- just the branding he got)... Danish Wayne Gretzky?

I don't mind Regin so much, but -well... I like Toews, Saad, and Versteeg... although I liked Toews, Sharp, and Hossa too ... come to think of it - I like Toews centering any line.

Well that didn't say so much :D...

On a related note, I love how the Hawks' page phrases things .... 'Hawks comeback falls short...' or something silly like that - -Comeback? They scored a third period goal to cut things to one goal difference -it isn't exactly like a comeback - just a goal to get close. Personally I think a 'comeback' needs multiple goals - otherwise every other win the Hawks have had would be something along the lines of holding off a (fill in the blank) comeback. Too funny.

I do have to say one thing - I love the streaming thing the NHL offers... I don't have time to go back and watch games after they are over -but you can get some good ones - like the Vancouver-Calgary game where things got crazy.
