I am bored. Let's predict our top 8 players stats for the next season.

Preseason is only about 18 days away. :woohoo:

This is how it will most likely go:

Derrick Rose: 21.4ppg 4.6rpg 7.6apg 1.1spg 49% fg 31% 3pt 80% ft 6.7 fta-pg

John Salmons: 17.3ppg 4.1rpg 2.4apg 1.2spg 45% fg 38% 3pt 82% ft

Luol Deng: 15.6ppg 5.2rpg 2.5apg 1.2spg 46% fg 32% 3pt 78% ft

Tyrus Thomas: 12.2ppg 8.3rpg 1.6apg 1.3spg 2.2bpg 46% fg 78% ft

Joakim Noah: 9.3ppg 9.8rpg 1.6apg 1.7bpg 52% fg 72% ft

BENCH:
-------------
Kirk Hinrich: 11.8ppg 2.8rpg 3.2apg 1.5spg 44 % fg 41% 3pt 80% ft

Brad Miller: 9.2ppg 6.8rpg 2.8apg 47% fg 38% 3pt 81% ft

James Johnson: 6.7ppg 3.4rpg 1.2apg 45% fg 31% 3pt 75% ft

These are our top 8 players and that is who I care for.

When I am looking at this, it seems like we will be a very good fg% team, very good rebounding team with lots of 2nd chance shots, solid ft shooting team and not bad 3pt shooting team. We will also be a HIGH SCORING team as well.

Hopefully this all mean that we win about 45 games  :D

So we are better offensively without BG? Your top 8 put up more ppg then the whole team averaged last year. You also predict that we will be the best rebounding team in the league. I think you should scale back your estimates a bit.

Why? You don't think we can score 100+ppg and grab 50+rpg???

Yeah, I should have checked the overall team stats but I was too lazy to do so.

Monday classes always bore the hell out of me, so here we go...

Derrick Rose: 20ppg 4rpg 8apg 48% fg 35% 3pt

John Salmons: 17ppg 3rpg 2apg 45% fg 38% 3pt

Luol Deng: 17ppg 6rpg 2apg 49% fg 32% 3pt

Tyrus Thomas: 13ppg 6rpg 2.5bpg 46% fg

Joakim Noah: 8ppg 11rpg 1.5bpg 52% fg

Kirk Hinrich: 8ppg 3rpg 5apg 45 % fg 41% 3pt

Brad Miller: 10ppg 7rpg 2apg 47% fg

James Johnson: 8ppg 4rpg 2apg 48%fg

Like COOL, I think we will be a pretty potent offensive team. We have a lot of guys who can chip in on offense, and hopefully Derrick will be that go-to guy at the end. I'm hoping we implement a more well rounded offense with lots of cutters and quick passing. I also see Tyrus improving immensely on the P&R.

Again, as much as i hate to say...i really see D-Ro hitting the wall midway through and having to really come back strong in 10-11. He's going to be a multiple All-Star in this league but this year is going to be a valley for him. Not this year...but he will blossom after this season.

Here are my predictions for what will be a very difficult Chicago Bulls lottery season.

Rose- 15.8 ppg, 6.2 apg, 3.1 rpg, 42% fg, 24% 3pt%, 85% ft%, 1.1 spg (Injury-shortened)
Salmons- 16.7.2 ppg, 1.7 apg, 3.3 rpg, 38% fg, 39% 3pt%, 79% ft%, 0.8 spg
Deng-18.5 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 2.1 apg, 46.8% fg, 24% 3pt, 83% ft% (In only 62 games)
Tyrus-8.7 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 36% fg%, 75% ft%, 1.8 bpg
Noah-6.6 ppg, 9.4 rpg, 47% fg, 65% ft%, 1.6 bpg

Hinrich- 10.1 ppg, 4.2 apg, 2.0 rpg, 41% fg%, 35% 3pt%, 84% ft%, 1.3 spg
Miller-7.3 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.2 apg, 40% fg%, 26% 3pt 68% ft%, 0.8 bpg
Johnson-5.7 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.1 apg, 46% fg%, 26% 3pt, 77% ft%

I am surprised most of you say Salmons will get around 2apg and 3rpg.

Isn't that LOWER than what Gordon was getting all his career - and pretty much 99% of fans (not only Bulls fans but every teams fans) say that he is 1 dimentional. If that's the case then wouldn't Salmons also be considered 1 dimentional???

I just don't see Salmons averaging less than 4rpg especially if he is getting 30+mpg.
This is why having the bigger lineup will mean we will be one of the top rebounding teams in the NBA.
