Next Thursday the Bulls start their 6 game road trip, otherwise known as the Circus Road Trip.

The Bulls play:
@ Denver - All you Nate lovers get to see him again, maybe.
@ Portland - Tough game
@ LA Clippers - Toughest game
@ Utah - Easy game
@ Detroit - Division Opponent
@ Cleveland - Division Opponent

Now they play less tough western teams than they have in the past on this trip IMO. I could honestly see 4-2 out of the trip as long as they stay healthy and Rose gets back into the swing of things.

Others thoughts?

The Bulls will go 0 and 6.
By the end of the trip, half the roster will be wearing casts, walking on crutches wearing street clothes.

Well...I mean I could totally see us going 1-5, but I'll be optimistic and go with 4-2 as well with losses to LA and Denver (because Nate will light us up :smug:)

Haha, I have Portland and LAC as our losses...Bulls seem to always struggle in Portland.

Ain't that the truth?

A lot of the trip really depends on how well players like Jimmy and Luol play. So far they've sucked and we as a team have suffered because of it. If Luol can go back to his 17ppg 45% fg% self and Jimmy can toss in 12 points without shooting 4-13, we'll probably be good to go.

I have them going 4-2. With the 2 losses against Denver, LA or Portland.

I got them going 5-1 and losing the last game of the trip. I think the trip will help build better on court chemistry.

The team as a whole shooting as poorly as they have is fairly baffling to me. Jimmy played a good game 1 against Miami (when he wasn't in foul trouble) but beyond that he hasn't shown up. I don't know how much of that is to blame on Rose's own struggles or just the team not meshing right now. Many thought Jimmy was our answer at SG, and I still think he can be, but he needs more consistency and show us what he showed in the playoffs last year.

Deng I'm afraid will never be the same as his 2010-2011 season due to his refusal to get wrist surgery. To me that really affects his shooting some games. His D is consistent, but we have plenty of guys on this team that can play D.
