I just want to know why the Bears actually kept everyone. Offering empty platitudes repeatedly does nothing to make us understand what the thought process was. I've got a pretty open mind here because I do think Ryan Pace is a capable general manager, but George offers nothing. He just says "I am doing what I think is best"--why is it best, though?

Everyone is going to know that both Pace and Nagy are on prove it deals for 2021. That’s going to make it more difficult to hire a quality DC, and definitely more difficult to get good FAs at a decent price.
So if the team improves (whatever that means to these guys), they will have warned the right to stay. If not...it’s only one more year of agony...
