Probably one of the best articles I've read in a while on Bears fans

@Mighty Joe Young

I am hearing impaired, so can you tell me how to pronounce Eberflus phonetically, so I don't look foolish saying his name?

Thanks!

That doesn’t mean it’s a great hire, only that it’s unfair to prematurely declare Eberflus an awful one. As hires go, it’s more of a stand-up double than a home run, but it’s not the swing-and-a-miss on a fastball out of the strike zone Marc Trestman was.

I just wanna quote this, cause he's comparing apples and oranges, and may regret it.

A better analogy might be, while Trestman was a swing-and-a-miss on a fastball out of the strike zone, we haven't even seen Eberflus come up to bat yet.

To call him "more of a stand-up double than a home run" very much implies that Eberflus will have, at a minimum, middling success as the Bears HC.

The assumption is that, he can't do worse than Nagy, and he absolutely can.

Probably the best line in the article that keeps good coaches away.

"I suspect the McCaskeys traditionally surround themselves with inexperience for reasons related to their organizational insecurity, a conversation for another day."

By picking up that one line which was more of a throwaway aside to the main article, you actually reinforce that you are the type of Bears fan haugh was talking about in the article. ???

Can Justin take the next step and make his bosses look good. That is the end game.

Lot of the great qb's took that huge step in their 2nd season.

Can Justin become that guy or is he just the workout version of d'wayne haskins from ohio state???

Look how far you've had to walk a lot of you takes back since the end of the season. Harbaugh, Day, Pederson, Daboll...etc.

A large segment of the fanbase has seen this before and are not fooled. You think they are overreacting. Maybe it's you who's outta touch.
