We used to have one of these back in IHN, but the forum transfer made it basically unreadable, so bumping it wasn't worth it. My MacBook question thread basically sparked the idea on restarting the thread again so feel free to post product reviews or questions here and hopefully others have some hands on experience using the product and can help or provide answers.

I know reading reviews online is one thing, but you never know who is necessarily writing them or what their agenda might be.

I recently bought a Sonos wireless speaker (Play 3 model), and I love it. It allows you to stream music from any device (phone, PC, laptop, etc.) wirelessly to the speaker. You just download the app, and your entire music library is at the control of your fingertips, which is then played through the speaker. And if you have multiple speakers, you can control each individual one. The speaker itself has excellent sound quality, and it's portable, so you can move it around. I plan on buying more in the future.

The last couple of years I have been messing around with various headphones for both my iPhone and desktop ranging from $30 to over $400. For my iPhone I chose the BW p5 which are closed back and on-ear. For a $300 headphone they perform great and match all the great reviews on the internet

But for my desktop I wanted great and open sound that could be easily driven by a small amp. I tried about 10 different sets ranging up to $400 and there were some great choices. But what I settled on was a $29 pair of Koss UR 40 open back headphones. These headphones continue to amaze me at any price. Easily driven they are open and airy with great low end and perfect highs. If I didnt know better I would have thought these $29 headphones were the $400 ones. I got mine at Best Buy but they are all over eBay

I tend to like live and unique performances. Those are on YouTube which I download and convert to MP3s. They are not available through iTunes or Lossless services

These papasan chairs are the most comfortable thing I've ever sat/lied in. It looks a little awkward to sit in, but something about it makes it so comfortable. Maybe it's the curvature your body is in when you sit in it. I feel like falling asleep every time I sit in it, and it's much more comfortable than your typical sofa. You can get it and try it out at Pier One Imports, and it's inexpensive (under $100 for the chair and cushion).

I remember getting stuck in one of these during an acid trip in my early twenties. Ugly as hell but comfy.
