In his first press conference with the Bulls, Tom Thibodeau came prepared. Instead of dropping vague references of working hard and working on both sides of the ball he came up with five specific things he said the Bulls were...

I love this man. He is a basketball genius and is better then any coach we've had for years and years I believe.

The best part, he's a defensive minded coach and that has always been the Bulls weakness in recent years.

Exactly and even the offensive philosophy is better then past coaches.

last year defense wasn't the problem. we have a good defensive roster, offense was the problem under VDN. I like what he's doing on the offensive end. Deng isn't being isolated on the perimeter against LBJ, and noah isn't running a high pick and role with rose every other second.

This man definitely was the right man for the job. Kudos to JR and Paxson for hiring him. Low turnovers and rebounding are the two things I was worried about losing... but I am confident now that the Bulls will still be strong in this regard.

I hope there is emphasis on running the break and the pick-and-roll game, too. But, all-in-all, I now am happy they chose Thibodeau over Byron Scott.

I'd give them bigger Kudos if they got it done two years ago.

What's impressive about the offense so far in preseason is that we're doing it without Boozer who was the primary offensive addition. Korver helps some too, but Korver's played far better than ever in the past.
