Boozer reads our posts here on good old CCS.
After yesturdays Boozer roast by a lot of us, he has his best game as a bull.
His performance tonight is proof that our constructive critisizm makes a differance.
Keep up the good work everyone.

Maybe he does. maybe he doesn't but either way, the constant flaming of Boozer for all the ills of this team has got to stop. The majority of people on here treat the guy like he's Dan Gadzuric.

This is actually proof that if you run the offense through Boozer, he is still one of the better PF's in the league. But almost every night, he's the 3rd option & sometimes 4th, but you will never here a complaint or comment made out of frustration because of it.

Boozer was on fire in the first half. I don't expect him to play that well, but you know...like half of that would be nice. 15-16 points is all I'm asking for every night Boozer.

I think most of the Boozer hate comes from the money he makes.

Overall, Boozer is a pretty god offensive player. He can't defend for shit, but he an have games like he had tonight on offense and really make an impact.

but just knowing we threw so much money at him when he isn't worth it makes people hate him. That's the case for pretty much every over paid player.

If Boozer was making 9-10 million a year, I don't think people would be so hard on him. At least that's how I see it.

Hey Booze, if you're reading this
1.) Can I borrow some money?
2.) If you can give us 50% of what you did tonight, I will love you long time.
3.) Kick the shit out of Cleveland on Friday.

yeah, someone was going to overpay and it happened to be the Bulls. David Lee would have been nice. He's getting less money than Boozer and can do the same things + he's younger and less injury prone.

Yeah some seem to judge players off of their salary. I judge then off of how they play. I can care a less about their salary.

Yeah David Lee does pretty much everything Boozer does, but probably a little bit worse. He played in NY and GS so those fast paced offenses tend to inflate numbers a little. But still, for a few million less I would've been fine with David Lee. It's not like he can defend either. :elephant:

It's hard for me to just judge off of talent alone. last season Boozer averaged 17.5/9.6. In general, are those good numbers? Yes. But those numbers + him not being a great defender isn't worth the money he was getting paid. so I look at him and say "He's not terrible.. but man, we could have spent that money more wisely."

If he was getting, let's say 9 a year.. I would probably say he's worth the money and wouldn't have as much of a problem with him.

That's just how I look at it.

But if we won a title, i wouldn't give a **** if everyone, even Lucas, made 50 million a year.

He's averaging 15 points per game right now? Dang...never would've known with him playing like 28 mpg. :bizarro:

It was just under 14 going into tonight so it's gotta be over 15 now. What's more impressive to me was that he was leading the team in rebounding coming into tonight's game.

The heck? Well I guess that means that either he's still been rebounding well or our overall rebounding has been bad. What's he averaging, like 7 per?

It was 8.2 going into tonight, but 4 of those boards are "selfish" rebounds that he should've let Noah get. :troll:

Boozer and Lee's numbers have been eerily similar during their careers. Granted, Lee is two years younger and has less of an injury history, but he's not nearly as good of a pick-and-roll/pick-and-pop option like Boozer is. That's why we got him -- because of his offensive ability in the post and the fact that his other skills compliment Rose so well. I don't care what anyone says, when LeBron and Wade said no to us, he was the best option we had out there. Did we overpay? Yeah, we did. But that's why we had a lockout. Because the owners are idiots for offering huge contracts, and players are equally as stupid to accept them and then underperform because they couldn't generally give two shits about the fans.
