Fields is in the building, boys. Steps in and is instantly the most talented QB the Bears have ever had. That doesn't mean that he'll translate, but it does mean he is the best clay the Bears have ever had to work with. He will start at some point this season.
That aside, the Bears have two highly priced backups on the roster. They serious can't roster 3 QBs right? Especially when depth is needed in other areas (CB, DL, OL). What do the Bears do? Trade Foles? Trade Dalton (possible)? They're pretty strapped for cash, I'm sure they'd like to rid themselves of Foles' contract if possible
