So tired of the constant Caleb Williams and Drake Maye talk. Especially since the former players haven't really played well at all in the last month. Personally I think people need to look closer at Michael Penix, Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels. I would personally keep Fields for one more year, trade down in the 1st round and select your favorite of the three QB's above and let them fight it out with Fields to be QB1. This plan would be especially great if we can get another 1st round pick in 2025.

What makes those 3 QBs more likely to succeed than Williams & Maye?

Talk about Spencer Rattler if you want to discuss a QB I don’t see mentioned much. He’s had a good year with a shit team surrounding him and is scheduled for the Senior Bowl. I’ve seen everything from round 1 to mid rounds for him.

I like Daniels. Good arm, mobile enough, seems to make good decisions with the ball. He stresses other teams defenses.

Somebody will be glad to get him.

A 2025 1st would be great but i really want to get a 2nd rounder in the 2024 draft to replace the one we traded for M.Sweat.

Only Bears fans wouldn’t want the top 2 QB prospects, but would want to trade down and get Spencer Rattler. Justin Fields hype truly broke this fanbase lmao. This needs to be studied.

No on Jayden Daniels. Daniels has wilted against better competition and his play has only been elevated by the players around him.

If someone legitimately believes a Bo Nix or Spencer Rattler will be a better pro than Williams or Maye, I mean, I would heavily disagree with them, but at least their logic of trading down and getting a QB later would make sense if it were somehow true.

What gets me are the people advocating for waiting on a QB (either in this draft or in the next one) even they aren’t convinced will be better than Williams or Maye. Why purposely pass on a QB you think will be better in favor of one you think will be worse, especially when you’re a fan of a QB-needy team?

It’s almost sad to see how scared many fans are. They don’t want to move off of Fields for anyone else unless it’s a guarantee because, ZOMG WHAT IF THEY’RE WORSE THAN FIELDS?!?!. Yeah, I mean, that’s a distinct possibility. But you don’t not take a chance out of fear.

Imagine if the Chiefs were like, ‘Hey, there’s no guarantee this Mahomes guy will be better than Alex Smith, who just led the league in TD-to-INT rate and had 30 passing touchdowns. So why take a chance (let alone trade up for him)’

Honestly, the 2023 Bears have truly broken this fanbase. Nobody is thinking straight lmao. Including myself.

Apparently “nobody is talking about them” is code for “I decided to post rather than read”.
