Finally got around to writing my first article. Take a glance and let me know your thoughts. Would love to hear what questions you think were answered and which ones still need to be.

I actually had a revised one but there weren't that many changes, anyways thanks to Rush for posting the first one and for getting me set up for writing articles in the future.

Nice article. Well written. Biggest questions for me...

Hjalmarsson- Seriously can't have another lame year. He became much more important when Campbell left.

Montador- Don't know a lot about him or his game. Clearly the front office likes him. He could be big by just playing quiet, good hockey.

Kane at center- If it works, it could be huge. If not, he goes back to wing. low risk, but I'm still curious to see how it shakes out.

Bolland- If he's healthy and if that third line can recapture the magic of the 2009 third line, this team can do anything. Those are two big ifs though.



Goaltending doesnt worry me- I think Crawford is so fundamentally strong that he'll be fine and the D should be better in front of him this year. I feel like the rest of the new guys will fit in fine just based on their experience and personalities, though I'm predicting Carcillo will be a clear cut bust. Sharp's health starting the year is a tiny question, but that's only because we haven't seen him skate yet. Being on the wing to start the year should help.

Our third line carried the fucking mail in '09. My biggest questions are Kane at center, do we go for a legit 2nd line center to get Kaner back on the one with Toews, do we get to move Sharp back to wing, WTF do we get out of Frolik and Stalberg, and does Crawford get it done...

Oh yeah and is Hossa Hossa and can anyone skate the puck out of our zone the way Soupy could...
