Quick legal question?

My wife and I are both on a apartment lease contract. If her sister comes over, can I kick her sister out with no problems? I'm curious if she has The right to have any visitor in our house. Then again I'm on lease as well and we both pay the rent, I should be able to kick any visitor out

You have every right to ask the sister to leave, but your wife has every right to tell her to stay. One of you are going to have to suck it up and move out. It's really the only option at this point.

If you're both on the lease neither of you has any sort of overriding authority as to the persons allowed within your domicile unless crimes are being committed (then you can just report X to the popo and have your way).

I'd reconsider being married if it has gotten to the point of attempting to justify the legality of kicking out someone she's, apparently, defending...but I obviously don't know anything about the situation.

Not to pry, but have you considered attempting to force one of them to take a trip down a flight of stairs? That's how I got out of having my first kid and first marriage. The 2 for 1... best near murder ever :dunno:
