Hopefully we trade Deng and then we can really sign a Shooting Guard like Reddick or Ray Allen.

You can sign a bench filled with minimum salaries, you can even go over the cap to do it.

I'd like to keep Flip for minimum.

We dont build a bench unless Deng is traded and I will take that chance. I would find someone to dump James Johnsons contract on. He has enough salary to get a veteran min contract. While Johnson could very well take a big step forward in his 2nd season and being in better shape should help, a veteran is what we need. Someone to come in, play a little D, play smart and hit a couple shots. We will also have Taj on the bench most likely. But realistically, you will be looking at about 6-7 dleague players if we dont move anyones contract

You can build a bench with players: You can sign players to min and you can go over the salary cap and pick up players from the D league.

I'd take that.

I think a great starting 5 with a good two guys off the bench can be worked with. You have to manage the minutes real well and stay out of foul trouble obviously. A combo guard is a must too. But you could put Deng and Rose on the bench and have a dleaguer or two on the floor with LeBron and Bosh for a few minutes a piece.

Signing Vets to the minimum will fill up a lot of the bench.

But where do you get the money? its about 1.5 for vets, league mins are 1/3 of that. We cant use the MLE because we are going into this year under the cap.

I think you would already have to be over for a certain amount of time. I might be wrong. IDK, google it or something.

Well if you can then i like our chances of filling a bench with quality vets..at the same time, it gives Miami the opportunity to do the same if they get a few FAs.
