This draft should be very simple for Ryan Poles and Ben Johnson. Use your first three picks on DL and OL, then pick up a RB and Safety in no particular order.
I hope so too. I'm hoping they're able to trade back far enough to grab an extra second or third.
Get a DT like Nolan with that first pick, JT Tuimoloau with your top second rounder, Judkins with your next second rounder, and the top Guard or OT on the board with the last second rounder.
Snag a FLEX TE like Oronde Gadsden with your third round pick. Gadsden is going to be one helluva good FLEX TE. He's Trey Burton without the nagging injuries and anxieties.
Trade up into round 4 and grab the best Safety on the board. There are going to be pro quality safeties still on the board in this draft.
This team does have position player talent on both sides of the ball. None of those position players are going to look as good as they should until the Bears defensive line can terrorize opposing QBs/HBs and their Offensive line can buy their QB more time and create better running lanes for their HBs.
They will have a winning record and maybe even snag one of the lower WC slots with a mock like this, and they'll only improve as those younger players make their strides further in 2026.
