Do you think the estimates of 150k-200k attendees was correct?
I think 250,000 is more accurate. It wouldnt surprise me if there were 300,000. But definitely over 200k.
The subways were absolutely ridiculous as was D.C. the city itself the rest of that day. My friends and I stayed out in Rockville, Maryland, the last stop (or first stop going in) on the Red Line, and the train filled to near capacity there, and let on a few people the next stop and didnt let anyone on the rest of the way into D.C. And all stations going in were packed with people waiting for a train, which they weren't getting on anytime soon, so I also wonder how many people intended to go to the rally and didnt because they simply couldnt get there.
Every place to eat for hours after the rally was jampacked as well. Just seemed like everyone in town was at that rally.
