Any sort of Buffalo flavored gravysauce goes good with both ranch and blue cheese.

Blue cheese with wings and salad at a restaurant. At home though it's homemade ranch all day long

how do you make your homemade ranch

Well first you have to start with homemade mayonnaise but that's easy.

Homemade mayo:

1 1/4 cups light olive oil
1 large egg at room temp
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1/2 tsp salt
juice of 1/2 a lemon

Mix 1/4 cup olive oil and the rest of the ingredients together in a blender or food processor. We use a mason jar with a handheld blender and whisk attachment- this works awesome. As your mixer of choice is running, slowly drizzle the rest of the olive oil in. Two keys to thick and creamy mayo/dressing is having all of the ingredients at room temp and adding the last cup of olive oil very slowly so it emulsifies properly

Now, onto the ranch. There are a million ways to vary this so once you get the basics down experiment away

1 cup mayo
1/4 cup coconut cream
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp fresh minced parsley
1/4 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp each of garlic powder, onion powder, & black pepper

Whisk the liquids together in a bowl then mix in the spices until combined.

The coconut cream is a substitute for heavy whipping cream(I think), this is a paleo/low carb recipe
