I know it goes with the season, but it always touches my heart to know that there are some really kind people out there performing selfless acts. My Grandma told me today that when she was shopping at Walmart the other day that the lady behind her at the check out scanned her card before my grandma could pay and paid for her entire purchases. She was a perfect stranger, but told my grandma she wanted to do it. I have done things for people, but not on that scale. I bake cookies to give to people. I hope everyone can find some way to do a kindness for someone else. The feeling is incredible, It doesn't even have to cost money. Sometimes just a warm smile or kind word can make all the difference in the world when someone is having a bad day.

Do it for your fellow man, but do it mostly for yourself.

Well Bri I know that you can be very kind to people. In fact all the nice things you do might out do all the horrible stuff the other people on here do. Seriously though I try to be kind to people when I can. I hope you have people show kindness to you Bri.

I figured you as a closet Toys For Tots guy. I know underneath all that gruff exterior is a heart made of marshmallow. You would just never want it to get out that you were capable of doing something nice.

Hey, Im nice to my niece, I go spend time with her, and buy her stuff, like she was saving up for an american girl doll (she had like 30 dollars saved, they are like 100, and I just gave her the rest of the money and her and my mom ordered it online). Primarily because her father, my brother, is a piece of shit, and hasnt seen her in like 5 years.

She has to have some sort of positive male role model or else we know what girls do when they grow up without any positive male influences.

Hun, you don't have to convince me. I already knew you had goodness in you. Sometimes I think you need to convince yourself. Do you have any idea how much that probably meant to her?

So which doll did she get? I always like Samantha, but I don't have one of the dolls.

I posted a story in the Ron Santo thread about all the work he does for diabetes research and how kind he was but it definitely deserves to be re-posted here:

I want to share another story about Ron. I've been listening to the radio about this all day long and people aren't giving Ron the credit he deserved off the field in all the work he did throughout the community so here's a story about that.

My cousin Brian was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 8 years old. At that time I was probably about 2. So my aunt being a huge Cubs fan decided to write a letter to Ron explaining the situation and how my cousin was feeling kind of down. Well about two weeks after she sent the letter she came home from work one day and had a message from Ron on her answering machine. A few days later Ron took my cousin, my aunt and uncle out to dinner downtown just so he could talk to my cousin and explain to him how diabetes wasn't going to change him, only make him stronger.

Ever since my family has been the largest non corporate participant in his walk-a-thon for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. My cousin is now 26, married to a wonderful woman, and has a son of his own on the way. Today his facebook status reads "Today my hero has died, Ron you will surely be missed." He has always talked about naming a kid after Ron for all he has done to influence my cousin's life and I really hope that happens because it would be a great tribute to an even greater man.

Don't you live in Florida? Your random act of kindness could be helping Supraman snag a babe. He likes them kind of slutty, but at this point I'm sure he's willing to negotiate.

He lives in St. Pete. Everyone there is old except for this crazy chick I know who just moved there from Jax. I could hook him up with her, but I don't want the responsibility if it turns out poorly. She does have fantastic boobs though! She weighs about 110, is 5'5 and has beautiful 32/34 LARGE C's to small D's.

Crazy how? Like S&M crazy? He does like big boobs so he may be willing to overlook the crazy. Hopefully he will read this and decide for himself.

Sold.

My only act of kindess is my buddy's truck broke down I offered to drive and him to and from work until he got it fixed. It was supposed to be six weeks. Mind you it takes me 20 minutes to get to work, he is 20 minutes in the wrong direction so it took me an hour to get to and from work. Well this and that happened and he lost his truck. I drove him to and fro for 4 months and the next two months he rode the bus home (driving him home and then dealing with the traffic was slowly killing me). I still hooked him up when it rained and stuff like that but that was my act of kindness.

I'm not the kindest guy in the world. I mean I always say please and thank you, smile at people. Never stiff on tips, pizza guys love me. I'm pretty understanding but I don't really do random acts of kindness. Never see the opportunity

Wish You Were Here
We were in line at Kohl's last night waiting to check out. When we got to the register the nice lady in front of us gave us her 15% off card. We saved @ $70 on Christmas gifts and the casheir let us give it to the people next in line as well.

Hey RK you may not be going to Heaven but at least you'll have good company and it will be warm!
