the bulls have become the darlings of the media. I thought i'd share some articles with you.
It really sheds some light on how terrible VDN is/was, and how great TT is/will be. If vinny sucked this much, why didn't we just hire TT in the first place?
this one scared the shit out of me. Really, T-mac on the bulls? No thanks, i'll stick with bogans.
John Paxson has made several excellent decisions in the Chicago front office, but his physical assault against former coach Vinny Del Negro can be considered his worst.
“It never should have happened, and I never should have done it,” Paxson said Monday. “It was a heat-of-the-moment thing, and I was very frustrated with the way we were playing.
“What also disappointed me is that [Del Negro] never owned up to making a mistake. That says more about him than it does me. I was trying to protect my player [Joakim Noah, who was coming back from injuries], I did it in the wrong way and I’m not proud of that.”
Del Negro was eventually fired and the Bulls hired Tom Thibodeau, who is a favorite for Coach of the Year.
“Tom came in with a positive plan and a belief system from the start, and he has adhered to that.” Paxson said. “He’s done the best job in the league.”

The Bulls have held teams under 90 points in seven straight games and 18 of its last 22. Unsurprisingly, Chicago is 6-1 and 18-4 in that span.
"A good team finds different ways to win," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "Sometimes you have to be able win to with a low pace. It was a grind-it-out game. Both teams were playing good defense, so you're going deep into the clock. Sometimes you can score more and you have to win that way also.
"But I think the big thing is when you're not going well offensively, you have to be able to count on your defense and your rebounding. I thought the fact we always keep our turnovers down, that was big for us as well."
"We think of ourselves as a grimy team that fights through everything," Derrick Rose said. "So that's how we have to play."

McGrady Unlikely To Return To Pistons - RealGM Wiretap
Tracy McGrady appears less and less thrilled with his situation in Detroit and it appears unlikely that he'll return to the Pistons next season.
A Twitter follower of McGrady's suggested that he finish his career in Chicago, to which he responded: "That would be a good look."
