funny because everyone on cbc keeps talking about how rask is one of the most calm and composed goalies in the league.

means nothing that he had a flip out. all goalies flip out..thats what makes them goalies. dont expect rask to allow that many goals against next game..nor will craw. it will go back to tight defensive hockey again.

That just doesn't make sense to me... how can the emotional/hot headed goaltender be calm and composed? It's one or the other. I think Rask is more emotional and rides that wave. Can pay huge dividends for stretches... there's huge upside to goaltenders like this, but also a risk involved.

That GIF isn't the first time he's flipped out, while he hasn't really shown it on the ice during the Finals, he complained about Torrey Krug after Game 1 and if you look at his post-game interviews when he lets in 4+ goals, he complains about the chances the other team received rather than his own play.... he has been known ride the shit storms and deteriorate in games... but it rarely lasts more than a game before his head finds its way back to his shoulders and strings together a bunch of great games to keep his stats in line.

He's a 26 year old emotional goaltender. If we can exploit that, it can make a difference in the series.
