If you were a General Manager say for instance The Bulls (GM). You had an opportunity to draft Blake Griffin or Derrick Rose with the number one pick who would you pick ? But answer this question not knowing what Derrick Rose is now. Just think of Derrick Rose as a college player like Blake Griffin. Would you perfer PG or PF ? :woohoo:

Probably Rose.

I don't think Rose has changed my opinion on Rose too much this year. I like Griffin, but I don't know if he's a megastud in the NBA. Though I haven't watched much of him, whereas I had watched a ton of Rose in college.

GMs usually take the big man in cases like this.

If both were coming out, I might take Griffin because he has been viewed as more ready to make an impact, whereas Rose was viewed as somewhat as a project, or at least not having an instant impact.

Didn't we have a choice between a PG and a PF last year? I think the question was answered. PG has become more important in the minds of NBA GM's with the rule changes of the last 10 years.

I'd still take Rose. I think the league is starting to become PG heavy.

I'd take Rose over Griffin, even though I would have taken Michael Beasley over Rose last year.

Everytime I've seen Blake Griffin, he hasn't really impressed me. He's going to be a pretty good player, but I don't think superstardom is in his future. I think Beasley will still pan out as a superstar. He has too much skill and too great of a work ethic for that not to happen imo.

I would still go with Rose. For the same reason I wanted him over Beasley. It's harder to find an elite PG than big man. And that could be proven true if the Bulls can get Bosh/Stoudemire for next year.

Now if we would of taken Beasley, there wouldn't have been a PG the caliber of Rose to acquire. Though that CP3 rumor was out there. If the Hornets trade him they might as well fold the franchise.

It has the Rose, just because he is a point guard.

But then again, it seems that there are so many good young point guards coming in to the league whereas there are less quality big men, so maybe it's about equal.

So I'll just say Rose, because Griffin is ugly.

This one is a lot tougher then it seems. Griffin has pretty good size, an NBA ready body, an incredible athleticism. I think he will be a mix of amare and boozer.

With that said, id still take Rose. I think Rose has the chance to be superstar material, where Griffin will make some all-star games, but I doubt he hits that superstar level. Still though, I can see him being a 20 and 10 guy.

Am I the only one who thinks Blake wont be as good as people think in the NBA? His offensive game looks good but he still have major flaws with it. He has to be no taller than 6''8 and if he is drafted to a Western team watch out Blake.

The guy thought he was hot shit on ESPN 1000 earlier today because as he put it "said what every guy in Chicago wants to say".

Whatever. He had his moment. Sarah's not for everyone, but I wouldn't go that far to call it creepy. She took it in stride.

If he grabbed a boob then tried licking her face-- that's creepy.

I guess what I found more funny was the fact that his Hawks jersey looked like it came from China.

What about a reach-around to check that Kustok bottom? Would a little goose the tush qualify as creepy?

For those that can't think their way out of a wet paper bag, the above is a joke. Kustok has grown on me and I kinda like her. Much of that has to do with the family tagedy she's had to endure. I can only imagine how difficult that would be but she's managed to conduct herself seamlessly in a professional manner that I'd have difficulty doing.

Is it also ok for me to assume that he looks like he hasn't ever been with a girl in his life?

I don't consider that flirting. He was just complimenting her.
