re: the merchant Aimee Smith on Aliexpress.com (jerseys)

I'm following up with a purchase I made since many on here have used aliexpress.com with Aimee Smith as the merchant and others were also looking for feedback. I received my Cutler kncok off jersey and the stitching was ripped on one side (about 2 inches). They seemed more concerned with me cancelling the dispute than making this right, offering me future discounts on purchases? lol 2nd pic is the original dispute and the 3rd picture is responses in bottom to top order. I'm not sure what they mean by the last responses. My other concern is what happens if we don't have a resolution by the dispute deadline 4 days. If it was not for the ripped stitching it would be a real nice jersey. Fits perfect, other quality is nice etc.... Delivery took about 4 weeks (as stated when ordered)

I can not read those tiny ass pics. It looks like you paid $25 for a jersey. If that is the case, what did you expect?

I am not familiar with this seller or this site but it seems like one of those sites based in China making knock offs. If that is the case, you get what you pay for.

Like I said, this post was meant for the people who had posted in other jersey threads who have used this site or were looking for feedback. It was well worth the $25 gamble, I was not looking for a perfect authentic, but a nice quality knockoff, which if it was not for the stitching gafu this would be a nice quality knockoff.

I would prefer you do not repeat the same message you sent me the first time. I'm not closing the dispute unless I get a replacement jersey sent to me or a full refund.

oh, friend, we really have prepared the jersey for u carefully, and we check really carefully before we send it out, we make sure the jersey in good condition and good quality. different manufactors may have a little difference, and in order to cooperate with u again, we will give u some discounts next time and refund 5$ to u this time, so pls change the price to 5$ first,, and then we can agree it,, hoping for your understanding and reply, thanks

No, I want a replacement jersey or a full refund. Receiving a jersey that is ripped is unacceptable. Take care of me and you have a loyal customer. Offering me future discounts while not taking care of the orignal problem does not make a loyal customer.

Yup, definitely one of those Chinese companies.

I have a few of those kinds of jerseys. Most look pretty damn great, but like Cutler, they lack consistency. I have a white Forte one that is supposed to be a 52 but it is clearly a 58 or something. It's HUGE.

But those places are shady as ****. How they maintain ridiculously high ratings on eBay and other sites just baffles me. They obviously create dummy accounts and also try to give actual customers, like you, the run around when you do have an issue.

I have other knockoffs that are real nice but I have no idea what happened to that merchant. I have heard many good things about this place. My main issue is I expected a little better customer service and resolution which I still think I will end up with in the end. If not, my dispute stays open and the feedback will be very critical

At least they are offering you $5.. That is more then they have to do. I cant see the photos because my work blocks photo bucket. If the stitching is ripped on a seam, is it possible to get the wife to fix it? I ordered a lot of nice Elite knock offs and my stitching is always fucked up on the numbers and letters, but that is an easy fix.

Why wasting more time with some Chinese knock off company than it would to mend a 2 inch pulled thread? Seriously, that should take all of 5 minutes to mend and it looks like its in the armpit, so BFD. Paying $25 for a $125 jersey and then wanting it for free because it's not perfect...:hitler:

I think it is because they are selling $245 jerseys for $25. just a hunch though

really? I don't care if I paid $5, you don't get an item ripped and just shrug it off. Yeah, it's an easy fix which I will do if need be, but dos not mean you just say ah shit and don't try to get recourse. A rip is quite different then "expecting it to be perfect" smh It takes about 5 minutes of my time to dispute this, no biggie

I mean of course they are not going to send you a replacement.... You would have to agree to ship the ripped one to them and then pay to have the new one shipped back to you.. How much did you pay for shipping one way? You would probably be better off just taking the 5 bucks, and realistically the Chinese company probably only has $5 in the Jersey.

Take the settlement and run. Paypal won't help until you show that you returned the item. The cost, trouble and expense of a tracked package to what I suspect is China is sooo not worth it. They'll probably sell more jerseys from you noting them here than anything else.

Free shipping! I had 3 other jerseys (all real nice) with this order, It all depends if they want a repeat customer.

Yeah, definitely closer to $245 for a an "authentic" jersey.

But yeah, that was my point, which is why I didn't even bother to get a refund and this guy shouldn't either.

You should start a support group for 'people too cheap to buy authentic jerseys, but dislike the product quality and service that comes with knock offs'. I could picture it now...

TheWinman: "Hi name is TheWinman"

Group (All together): "Hi TheWinman..."

The Winman: "I paid barely the material costs and I'm unhappy with the craftmanship of the 8 year old that probably lost a thumb trying to stitch my jersey. Worse yet it appears their customer service department is that same 8 year old typing without a thumb".

That and people buying knock off jerseys typically have lowered expectations. Many times they are just rating that they recieved a product, not how great the product really is.

Agreed again. Like I said, when I ordered mine I knew what to expect and my expectations were very low.

This guy paid basically 10% of the cost of a jersey and expects some company in China to do something about it? LOL. You'd be better off expecting Jay Cutler to have three games in a row like the one he had on Sunday. Ha.

Why pay $245 for a real authentic? I can easily afford it, but I'm not drastically overpaying for something that does not cost that much more to produce than the knockoffs. I wear my jerseys. If I was buying a jersey for a collectors item, then I pay the $245. If you want to be foolish and pay $245 for a $40 jersey then go ahead, but no need to knock others.

You go ahead and let them rip you off. Again, I was not even close to expecting perfection, but ripped stitching is not going to be tolerated. I will get what I want, they made it obvious they do not want this dispute on their record.

Your first problem is AliBaba. I made the mistake of buying what I thought was a G-Shock off of there years ago. It was a little cheaper-about 80% of what the watch was on Amazon. It was a POS knockoff. AliBaba did ****-all to address my complaint. Lesson learned. I have not been to the site since.
