The Blackhawks 10-2-2 record in March was their best since the 1990-1991 season. What is so promising about that? We did it without our best player and captain the whole month, our top defenseman for 4 games, our starting goalie getting pulled in what? 4-5 games?

That is one hell of a streak going into the playoffs. Here is to hoping it continues!

Sign me up. This team has been Jekyl and Hyde all season, but I am glad that the good team appears to be the one that will show up at the start of the playoffs. Getting their two best players to start the postseason should make us a threat in the postseason, and that is really all you can hope for at this point.

Peaking at the right time.

Stalberg is playing out of his mind right now and is teaming with Sharp for some great chemistry. Oduya has greatly solidified the defense and Crawford is playing good enough. Leddy and Shaw are playing very well and the Boland line is showing a pulse. If a couple things go right (Toews comeback and Crawford's play) this team could make a serious run.

10-2-2 in the month of March, with only ONE of those games coming against a team that isn't making the playoffs.

Oh, and without their captain.

And four of those games without their best defenseman.

Doesn't mean shit.

Team sucks.

actually in history of this sport it doesnt mean a whole lot. just like the losing streak. they arent as bad as that team was and they arent as good as this team is. thats just simple logic.

I never said they suck. I said their defense & goaltending does & that's why they'll be golfing after round 1.

Their goaltending was actually better last season with a depleted team.

So... that means we are as good as the team BEFORE the losing streak, which was #1 in NHL in points... OK... Stanley Cup in the bag!

Im going to say it depends on what hawks team show up for the playoffs indicate how far they will go. If the puck possession fast outbreak hawks show up I like the chances better. That's the style they have won with in the past and something they need to stick with nightly. Now if the hawks come in and try to play the hitting physical roles then I don't like the way they match up against top teams in the league.

The West is so packed with quality quality teams that dont match up with the hawks, even if they play their way it will be hard. I think LA will be a 7 game series if they play them, I dont want DET at all in the 1st round, and Nashville will eat us up. Its a tough road no matter what schemes they use.

Sure Toews will probably be back, just hoping fans ae expecting the pre toews concussion to be playing, that would just be silly.

One thing that is always true- through out the shootout results -mainly because in the playoffs it is play til you lose (and I mean throw it out in the sense of identifying trends -all it means is that nothing happened after 5 minutes of 4 on 4 ... which isn't particularly relevent either.).

Ok, do that and does that change what you come up with? Different? Same?

Hawks have only given up the second most goals in the West.

Print the Stanley Cup Finals tix!
