Red Sox-Cubs in Wrigley in '12

BOSTON -- Revisions have been made to the 2012 schedule that now have the Red Sox returning to Wrigley Field to play the Chicago Cubs next season, as well as a home-and-home interleague series against the Florida Marlins, according to a league source. The schedule is due for official release on Wednesday.

The Red Sox are scheduled to go to Miami to play the Marlins in their new stadium on June 12-14, then to Chicago to play the Cubs June 15-17.

Always cool to see teams like the Yankees and Red Sox in Wrigley but hopefully it's competitive as well. The Cubs full 2012 schedule should be out on Friday or Saturday which probably doesn't matter to most people but I'm personally excited to see when/if the Cubs play @ Minnesota because 2012 should be the year.

The schedule is about as perfect as it could be for me and my wife. Tigers at Wrigley June 12-14. We met at Wrigley in 2006 when the Tigers were there and our anniversary is June 14th. We always take a week vacation for our anniversary and try to see the Tigers on the road. The series before Chicago the Tigers are in Cincinnatti, a trip we've wanted to take, but the Tigers havent played there in a while. I think we're going to hit both next year.
