I honestly don't want him to play at all next season. I hope he doesn't return too early.

If he's ahead of schedule then he's going to be playing this season.

And Reggie is the one calling the shots, so I highly doubt he returns too early.

this mean jack shit,

in a few weeks, someone will report he's behind schedule

plus it's july....we got months before rose can even be remotely considered for nba activity

It means he's ahead of schedule. Not only Reggie, but Dr. Cole has said as much in the past few weeks.

Why is it when a report comes out that he's ahead of schedule everyone assumes Rose is rushing himself back? The dude is 23 & in incredible shape. Is it so far out of the realm of possibility that he may be healing faster?

Chillax bro, it's a good thing. :smoke:

A. i think the bolded is a general comment, because i said nothing of this

B. it has little to do with incredulity of his ability to heal faster

Yay for completely dismissing the word of Rose's manager & his surgeon as meaning "jack shit" when it comes to his recovery timetable.

A. i think the bolded is a general comment, because i said nothing of this

Of course it was. And in several posts already people are stating "take your time" and "don't rush back" all because I posted that his brother said he's ahead of schedule.

B. it has little to do with incredulity of his ability to heal faster

Yet you post:
in a few weeks, someone will report he's behind schedule

So you don't believe any of the reports that have come out? Seems a bit incredulous to me.

ya man i'm freaking out, i need, like, a fucking xanax or something

Couldn't hurt could it since you seemed to take offense to me actually being happy that Rose is ahead of schedule.

Seriously though, there's no reason to be arguing. We should ALL be happy Rose is progressing better than expected. :bullbang:

He said "everyone", not you. He's right too. And if I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure it was Prope who was implying that Rose was rushing back, not you.

Exactly. Code just completely dismissed the report because Rose isn't ready to resume full basketball activity yet. Doesn't change the fact that his damaged tissue is healing faster than expected.

Well since Derrick Rose is ahead of schedule, that is more of a reason for the front office to try and make another run at Dwight Howard.

Get it done Gar-Pax.....

it is a nice sentiment, but the healing process is different for everyone and volatile, especially in the long run..it's july, we got a long way to go..

i am not completely dismissing the report, that would imply i think it's totally incorrect...it's a report, i take it for what it is

but it has really no implication

Of course it was. And in several posts already people are stating "take your time" and "don't rush back" all because I posted that his brother said he's ahead of schedule.
i'm with you there...lol@ being ahead of schedule in july being such an urgent matter

So you don't believe any of the reports that have come out?
don't think i ever said that

i take it at face value....rose is probably ahead of schedule

in two weeks, things might completely change...that report has no meaning either, we aren't even close to the nba season yet

you can't assume a future contradictory report is false, however, just because two weeks ago it was reported he was ahead of schedule

alot of different factors here

Seems a bit incredulous to me.
incredulity about rose's ability to heal=/= incredulity of reporting

Couldn't hurt could it since you seemed to take offense to me actually being happy that Rose is ahead of schedule.

where did i say that i have a problem with you being happy about the report?

optimism isn't a bad thing...it's a positive report, but has no real long term implication

just calling it like i see it

Seriously though, there's no reason to be arguing. We should ALL be happy Rose is progressing better than expected. :bullbang:

for now:smug:
