Can't remember if we've tried this or not...seems like we have but couldn't find the thread.

Post "remember when's" simple enough...

If you remember and find it humorous/miss those days, thank the damn poster.

Remember when the fan base was torn over whether or not to trade Mark Prior for Erik Bedard? Turns out they both suck/are injury prone.

Remember Kerry Wood's 20-strikeout game? That was pretty sweet.

I just went through some archives, and it seems the "big" trade in question was Prior, Hill, et al. for Tejada, Bedard et al. So we could both be right :hi5:

Remember When there was a chance of Furcal coming to the North Side, and collectively creamed in our pants at the thought of an infield w/ Ramirez, Lee, Furcal and Sori all in their prime?

lulz.

I was. That's when I really started to follow baseball. I used to memorize the top hitters from each league... oh I was so stupid thinking BA mattered lol.

 right because it is totally irrelevant. It is called balance. you can have a team up and down with 200 BA hitters, with 380 OBP, I wouldnt bet on that team, the team would have to rely on walking in runs, HBP runs, and an occasional Homerun. It is called balance, teams need that. So to say that BA doesnt matter is 100% ignorant.

Umm no? A team of 200/380 players would pretty much be the best offense in the league. That's getting on base a ton. They don't have to rely on walking in runs, HBP runs, or the occasional HR. They can still get hits besides homeruns. That team would absolutely rake.
