Yahoo Sports reports: Brett Favre was apprehensive to return to the Minnesota Vikings not because of his ankle injury but because he doesn't trust head coach Brad Childress, according to Yahoo Sports.

"Brett thinks Childress has no clue about offense," a Vikings player told Yahoo's Jason Cole.

Childress lost a measure of credibility with some players, according to the report, by telling coaches to lie to the media on Wednesday that three players had flown to Mississippi to bring Favre back to Minnesota.

Something relating to their division and teams on their schedule is still Bears news. The player-coach conflict was one of the key reasons the Bears won their December game, news they still could disagree with each other is positive 'news' for 'the Bears.'

If the lack of faith in Childress translates to poor performance on the field, that is good news for the Bears.

On the other hand, the Vikings were 5th in total offense and 2nd in points per game, last year. We can only hope that Mike Martz is that inept!
