The Chicago Bears will try to forget Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos as they have a short week and will take on the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving. The Bears could be getting a key player back for that game as well.Signs are pointing to running back Matt Forte making his return from an MCL injury he suffered against the Minnesota Vikings in week eight. The Bears have been without Forte for three games, but backup Jeremy Langford has done a good job filing in.Now the Bears may have both for the showdown against the Packers, according to ESPN:
Reserve running back Ka'Deem Carey suffered a concussion in the Bears' loss to the Broncos, which further highlights the need for Matt Forte (knee) to return for Thursday night's game at Green Bay. Forte participated in an extensive pregame warmup on Sunday, and barring an unforeseen setback, appears on track to play against the Packers. The Bears will also monitor the health of wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (groin/shoulder) on Monday. Chicago obviously missed Jeffery's big-play potential against the stingy Broncos' defense. It's a quick turnaround for the Bears. The team practices Tuesday and Wednesday before departing for Green Bay.
Adding to the report, Bears beat writer Hub Arkush said on the Bears postgame show on WSCR 670 Sunday that Forte was doing individual drills Friday at Halas Hill. Arkush indicated thats a sign that a player is close to being ready. The Bears are also missing their top wide receiver, Alshon Jeffery, who was sidelined against the Broncos with a calf and shoulder injury.

Forte would be a huge factor in this game. I like Langford, but he still worries me.

He probably could have gone this week but who wants to run against Denver?

Against the Packers? Cutler and his 1-12 record and 60ish QB rating vs them worries me much more.

I'd look at his previous 2-3 games for a more accurate assessment of Cutler vs. GB.

No point bringing up his record from years and years ago. It looks like we actually have a real OC.

That shit's so ugly it doesn't matter how you look at it, brotha.

If I had a turkey for every time someone posted in the past how this or that coach was finally gonna make the difference for Cutler, I could feed everyone of you motha fuckas this Thanksgiving

It's only nonsense to non-Bears fans, brotha. Bears fans really do have a problem with the fact their QB has done more to aid the Packers than the Bears.
