I don't have anything that you could just have, but there are a number of topics that I could give more than a little guidance on.

Need more info. Do you need to write 7 pages on one of these topics, or a couple of them. Many of these you should be able to bullshit your way through. I've tried my best to look through some of these to offer some help.
So I just found out I have a 7 page research paper due tonight. I have to work and have other stuff due.

Little help? Has anybody done anything on the following recently that could help me out.

1. Discuss a recent presidential election in a country other than the United States.
How recent is recent? I'd go with the 2005 election of Viktor Yushchenko is the Ukraine. Dude was fucking poisoned, and many think Putin was behind it.
2. Discuss the history of the oil industry in the Middle East, including North Africa.
There is a great Truman quote about Saudi Arabia. Can't recall it off the top of my head, but it really shows this countries desire to be friendly with the rulers of that country for a LONG time. For my senior seminar class, I did a 30 page research paper on early Cold War alliances between the US and S.A./Iraq/Iran and how a war between the US and USSR almost broke out in theat region in the 50's. Truth is, America has had oil interests in that region going back as far as before the first Wold War. If I could find it, you are more than welcome to look at my research.
3. Identify and discuss the various linkages, economic and political, between China and (1) the United States, (2) the European Union, (3) Russia, (4) Pakistan, (5) India, (6) Caribbean nations, and (7) African nations. Note that these countries are being related to China and not each other.
Rich Chinese bankers want their money everywhere.

7. Identify and discuss the most important “oligarchs” in contemporary Russia.
I'm assuming this is post USSR. Yeltsin and Putin are obviously the two more important (might actually be the only now that I think of it). Yeltsin and Clinton made a lot of headway in repairing the relationship - Putin seems intent on restoring the power/significance/secrecy of the USSR
8. Contrast the Japanese system of “keiretsu” and the Korean system of “chaebol.” Explain why these forms of collusion have been weakened in recent years.
I really wish I could remember my stuff from Japanese History. One of the more fascinating classes I've ever taken. This in no way helps/answers your question, but I wanted to throw that out there.
13. Identify the major sources and the major importers of global steel production. Give specific data. Describe recent trade issues relating to steel.
Not going to do your research on this one, but I remember hearing something that China is the world leader in steel production because they bought a shit ton of old American cars and melted down the steel.
14. Identify the major sources and the major importers of global automobile production. Give specific data. Describe the relationships between globalization, the “new international division of labor”, and the automobile industry.
When you identify the American auto industry, and answer that does not include the labor unions is incomplete.
20. Give the modern history (from the reign of the last Russian czar to the present) of the Russian (Soviet) monetary system. Contrast Soviet monetary policy with post-Soviet monetary policy.
The Soviet Union basically spent themselves into bankruptcy. Those that praise 'St. Reagan' says he is the reason for it. Truth is, the Soviet collapse started much earlier in the 1970's. Most of this has to do with Soviet paranoia. George F. Kennan's Long Telegram is THE document that best describes the psychology of the Soviet Union. It does outline some of their economic ideas and why they would go that route. post-Soviet monetary policy, to me (which is opinion based) seems to be to make oil billionaires as much money as possible, and not really spread it around
21. Explain why Russia is in a “demographic collapse.”
I think they are a pretty old country, meaning I don't think their birth rate is keeping up with the death rate.
23. Discuss the possible ethnic composition of the United States in 50 years. Discuss what is causing this projected change and what might prevent it.
Hispanics will be the majority in 50 years. Congressional (see: Republican) efforts to tighten up the borders are the major reason why this might be prevented.
24. Discuss the influence and importance of organized crime in Latin America, Eastern Europe (including Russia), India, and Hong Kong.
Hard to discuss this without mentioning human trafficking.
31. Give an overview of public opinion and governmental policy toward the problem of disaffected Muslim youth in the European Union.
France seems intent on getting rid of all Muslims. They have banned a lot of Muslim practices in their schools, plus those riots a couple years ago were based on laws aimed at Muslims (don't know exact specifics). Germany has a significant young Muslim population, but they seem to have assimilated in that country well, and Germany itself (I don't think at least) seems to have a problem with it.
32. Discuss the potential economic impacts of the continued rise in sea level and temperature for the world’s people.
Well the more the seas rise and the more shorelines shrink the more inland people will move. The problem will come in the form of where will these people live, and how will they get there. So I would touch on housing developments and public works projects.
33. Identify and discuss the various linkages, economic and political, between Israel and (1) the United States, (2) Germany, (3) United Kingdom, (4) Russia, (5) Pakistan, (6) India, and (7) Egypt. Note that these countries are being related to Israel and not each other.
Well these are all countries that are 'friendly' to Israel, at least their governments. The governments of Pakistan and Egypt are friendly with Israel, I imagine the average citizen wants to seem them blown away. Israel has one of the highest per capita GDP's in the world. What they do with loans/investments in other countries is very important to their security. It's my opinion that Israel really knows their status in the world and because of that they'll often take advantage of relationships they have with other countries.
34. Give an assessment of both formal and informal linkages between France and its former colonies, as well as other French-speaking countries in Europe. Identify factors that give France its relative influence in the world community.
France really doesn't have much influence in the world. They sit on the UN Security Council (for reasons past understanding) so they have some that way. However, on the world stage they are not what they once were.
35. Discuss the current state of readiness and level of capability of the Japanese military. Identify limiting factors on Japan’s military capability. Identify areas of (possible) planned development in the future.
See answer above
37. Discuss the current state of readiness and level of capability of Russia’s military. Identify limiting factors on Russia’s military capability. Identify areas of (possible) planned development in the future.
Russia's military scares me. Doesn't answer your question, but I see them like a hibernating bear.
38. Discuss the current state of readiness and level of capability of Iran’s military. Identify limiting factors on Iran’s military capability. Identify areas of (possible) planned development in the future (including nuclear weapons and missile systems.)
I mean, they seem very intent on getting a nuclear weapon. How they would deliver that weapon, I have no idea.
40. Discuss different forms of Islamic fundamentalism, both in the Middle East and elsewhere.
The Wahabists are the more radical fundamentalists. People talk about the warring between the Sunni and Shi'ites, but the Wahabists are the scary ones (bin-Laden was a Wahabist)
42. Discuss the events leading up to the statehood of Arizona, New Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii. Discuss the possibility of more than 50 American states.
The flag won't look right with more stars on it
43. Discuss the organization of the Chinese Communist Party. Identify how its policies regarding itself and Chinese national leaders have changed since the death of Mao.
Well it's more decentralized
50. Other than Muslim fundamentalists, identify non-Western pressure groups that are in resistance to or in open revolt against globalization and the influences of Western culture.
African governments.

I know I can bullshit through them, I just don't really have the time. It isn't for a "real class" it's just some online bullshit I stay enrolled in, so I don't have to pay back my loans until I have enough to pay them all off at once.

I already have my career path set, so I'm solid.

I have to pick a topic and write a 7 page paper on it.

I'd almost suggest that you hunt down a Wiki article on one of the topics that can span seven pages and run it through a thesaurus-type program to change enough words so that it doesn't look like you completely plagiarized shit :D

The Columbian exchange topic would be the easiest for what Rice was suggesting. I would search Diamond's Guns, Germs, and Steel to find some snippets to throw in as research.

#32: Watch Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth .

Your major points could be:

1. Population displacement along the coast lines leading to overcrowding in already high population areas leading to distress and increased competition for resources like land availability, water, food, etc. especially in developing nations.

2. With the increase in sea level will come an increase in natural disasters, especially towards the poles. They will be more frequent, and stronger, so incidents like Hurricane Katrina might happen on a more regular basis, which obviously will costs billions of dollars in damage.

3. The rise in sea level will cause disturbance for many costal species, especially things like crabs, mussels, lobsters, etc. which will quite possibly change their niches environmentally, making their survival difficult, limiting the fishing industry.

4. Just the sheer amount of species that will be displaced/ destruction of habitats will (while not cause any monetary damages) result in the potential of economic gain. If you were to put a price on the animals killed or displaced and the habitats destroyed, how much would that be?

I tried to stay out of this thread. But I have to say, this is so far from the truth. The "Broken Window" fallacy extends to even this type of logic. The destruction of any resource can not possibly cause economic gain. It is impossible. The only time a natural destruction can be debatable as beneficial economically, is if one destruction cancels out another destruction. IE: Something crazy, like killing only one non-beneficial parasite that spreads massive disease as a function of it's defenses. Economic growth benefits come from resource growth, not destruction. Sorry, I dislike watermelon theories.

I think the answer is no. The only college paper I have saved is my senior thesis which was about race and labor in turn of the century IL, and I don't have a soft copy of that even.
