Ive loved RE since the first one came out for Playstation.

Then I don't see why you'd want to get this one. The Resident Evil games have completely switched genres starting with RE5. It is no longer a horror game, but an action adventure game, and a very generic one at that.

I agree. I loved the original RE series, but the games have changed a lot since. And that's not for the better.

If you have paid any attention to this game (game play videos and such) you'd know this game is going to be WAAAAY better than five, Yes there is a lot of action but they have re-added some of the horror element. Leon's campaign looks pretty old school with zombies let loose in a mid-western town.

5 was def. an action survival type game honestly but i enjoyed every minute of it. Mercs mode was alone was worth buying.

Demo is out, now ive only played Leons demo but im going out to pre-order this today. Reminds me of Resident evil 4 with better controls. Im sure Chris and Jakes campaign are more like RE5
