Restaurant recommendation

There are a zillion great places to eat in Chicago but I wanted to throw out a recommendation if you are in the NW Suburbs. It's called the Bomba Grill in East Dundee. Just a hole in the wall place with 12 seats. Best burgers, fries and sandwiches you will find. My favorite is a grilled cheese and bacon on sourdough with 3 kinds of cheeses (including Merks Cheddar) prepared in garlic butter with terrific homemade fries. Off the chart

They also make some great burgers like the Juicy which has Merkts cheddar oozing out of the middle and this bacon Cheeseburger

Looks great but I hate cheese in the middle 'Jucy Lucy' or any other stuffed burger. That space is reserved for rare meat, find other places for the cheese.

Oh hell yes. I'm not anti-cheese, I'm pro rare meat, seared meat, and melted cheese, I want it all.

You think eating one burger makes you obese? That is an extreme view, but this is America so you're entitled.

Once a month I have a Five Guys burger and I enjoy the hell out of it.

To your point, one could trade a salad for that artery-clogging monstrosity you posted, the alcohol reference is just a failed analogy.

Now, don't get all ass-hurt and defensive, I bet that thing tastes good but it will wreak havoc on your internal plumbing. Make sure you carry wet-wipes with you everywhere for the ensuing 48 hours.
