I Love it. It just makes me want to LOL at all the people who were calling them cheap, and suggesting that they are liars, and criticizing them for the last 3 years. I can't help remembering the Sox idiots that made so much fun of them for their renovation difficulties, especially that 1st game of the year with the bathroom bullshit.
I personally always said that they never lied, they told us they were going to be sellers, and losers for the 1st 4 years during their rebuild. Well, they did exactly what they said they'd would, but in just 3 years.
The idiots that suggested Theo's approach to drafting bats, position players, and not pitchers, was the wrong way to do it. The idiots that focused solely on the couple trades that were not the best value, rather than ALL the other ones that were exceptional (Jake anyone).
Most of all, the idiots that regurgitated the past 100 years, even though that was another (Last) regime. And the Sox fans that trolled Cubs fans for being loyal to this rebuild and for recognizing that it was a new day, and that the last 100 years had absolutely bupkus to do with anything!
Well, all the doubters can suck my lollipop while I laugh at them, imo. Furthermore, the Cubs are not just good THIS year, they set themselves up for long term success. Their rebuild will make Wrigley as the top stop for people visiting Chicago for YEARS!
This is just the beginning people!
