Yes, I was wrong...a knee injured as a kid left him protecting it through his career, and the imbalance of his stride over time messed up his back... absolutely the best pure goal scorer ever.

The fact Bossy averaged 50 goals a year until his final year is ridiculous all in itself. Love me some Ovie, but you wernt born if you think he’s a better pure goal scorer then Bossy.
I still recall being a really little kid watching playoff hockey on sports vision and the commentators asking if Bossy was better then Gretzky. That alone tells you how great he was.
