Im at work, can you give me the cliff notes version?

Are we saying that he missed a lot of open receivers or that they were not getting open?

There were a whole bunch of times where he either 1) didn’t see the wide open target or 2 literally saw him and took the fucking check down. This is seriously concerning.

My pet theory is that he's inside his own head. Especially when you see him looking down an open target, and then getting scared to make a mistake and taking the check down. Or him getting overexcited and overthrowing. I think that's why (generally) his stats are mediocre to shitty up until the moment where he has to make some shit happen, and then just fucking plays. Outside of a few plays (e.g. that Amos interception week 1) he's been very, very good in the clutch. Fixable? I hope so. But who knows. I'm hoping that a solid performance against the Skins fixes his brane.

I kind of think he has 0 confidence in his ability. It’s like he’s so concerned about not fucking up he wants to take 0 risks and has somehow reverted back to a more Fox like version of Fox ball.

Cohen should've caught that. Rarely do you see that type of throw where it hits him perfectly in stride. He had to slow a little sure, but it hit him in the numbers, he's gotta hang on to that.

Also he made the right call on most of these throws. Schmitz says that.

But the constant stream of these threads is stupid anyways.

If anything can fix Mitchell it's the Skins. The NFL equivalent of an easy button.

Off those open receivers, he hit all but 2 of them. The problem was, they were all dink and dunks. A lot of open receivers that were not at the line to gain. His big mistakes were underthrowing Cohen deep on the first pass and then overthrowing Gabriel.

The term open vs wide open is loosely defined though. To me, wide open means that it should be a catch and run for a first down at the very least because no one is close enough to tackle you. If you have a 5 yard check down where you can be tackled immediately, yeah that is an open throw and an easy completion. But to call it wide open is rich.

The Cohen ball was actually a break up if I remember correctly.

Exactly. The defense will gladly let a QB complete a 3 yard checkdown pass all day.

Look at every single one of those plays. Seems like every play there is no one stretching the field at all. Seems like all the receivers are sitting under the coverage and 'wide open' while there are 3 defenders on the other side of them. The free safety is sitting there with literally nothing to do.

...? The only two broncos players there were D linemen who were engaged by the OL. What the fuck are you talking about?
He's using a play where all the other receivers are covered and he says 'look how open the RB is behind the QB for a wide open pass!'

It's fucking stupid. If guys are so wide open then why not show us down field? Cohen is literally behind the QB. Any RB in that position should be wide the fuck open.

On that play, there are 11 fucking seconds left in the 1st half and Cohen is standing by himself at the Bears own 30 with no timeouts left. The Broncos would gladly let anyone catch that and run the clock out.
