Played it a bit and I like the keyboard. Nice addition. The pro keys mode is the way to go. It's a bit more realistic since you have to use the individual keys and the black keys. Regular keyboard mode you just hit 5 keys, so it's like guitar but without strumming.
Harmonix has really botched the launch. The downloading of the RB2 songs is screwed up. I keep getting error messages. It seems to be hit and miss with people from what I've read.
This was my experience last night.
- Look in manual to see how to import songs. Tells me to look on Page 19.
- Page 19 tells me to go to RockBand.com. I thought instruction booklets should have, ya know, instructions.
- I go to RockBand.com and it's down. Says it will be ready to launch on the 26th.
- Go on today, down all day. Apparently will be up tomorrow. Maybe I'll be able to import the songs by then.
Couldn't get the keyboard until this afternoon. For some reason the keyboard wasn't available at the midnight launch. So keybaord is the biggest addition to the game and you don't have the equipment to ship with the game. Makes no sense. Especially when Wii keybaords were in stores last week.
Not all the songs will import. There's 5 songs that won't carry over to RB 3. Give it Away, Spoonman, Let there be Rock, and two others I can't remember. Some old DLC hasn't showed up either.
It will be nice when RockBand.com actually is up and running so they can answer some questions. There Twitter feed isn't much help. Just tells you to go to other sites.

Other than those issues, the game is solid. Got to get into it a little more.
