I remember it was initially supposed to be the other Wirtz son that would take over after Bill, but for whatever reason, Rocky was named. I'll say this: he did everything the fans wanted as far as the obvious (televising games again, bringing back Foley). The guy had some missteps (that article he wrote for the Sun-Times during the lockout and him snapping at the reporter asking about Beach), but overall, he had a big part in the rejuvanation of the franchise by simply reversing the ways of his father -- a critical step that perhaps the other son would not have done (hence why he was replaced at zero hour).
