Its ridiculous, he got some pretty good money and was supposed to come in and be the teams starting SG. Now he is not even doing well off the bench. smh

Wow. Ronnie Brewer is by far the best SG the Bulls have. His hamstring injury is taking away from what he does.

He really didnt get too much play time, and i think he did decently off the bench today. the pass to korver was sick. i think we should have been playing brewer on chandler/gallo instead of taj. JJ was giving us nothing out there tonight, so might as well see what brewer has.

i hope he gets better soon.

I know the injury has been nagging him, but he doesn't get let off the hook that easily. He was loud and clear to the media, and I bet, to the team and advisers about being 100% healthy before they wrote up that phat contract.

If we knew, what we knew now, I would be happy with Brewer for $1.5-2m less a year.

He's not getting the minutes due to injury but I've liked what I've seen of him. He made a couple of steals a couple of nice baskets and a good pass for a Korver three to spark a comeback run today. Once he gets healthy I think he'll do exactly what we thought he would, be a disruptive defender and cut hard to the basket for high percentage points.

BTW, we knew he can't shoot when we signed him so I don't see how anyone can hold that against him.

How about giving the injured guy a break? He didn't play half bad. Bogans on the other hand... That guy is simply terrible.

He is still recovering from his nagging injury. I think in 2-3 weeks he will be fully healthy and produce like he was supposed to.

This thread should be about CJ Watson... He sucks.

Brewer looked really good in his limited minutes again tonight. He's anything but a bust, once he gets healthy he's going to be a key player for this team.

I agree about brewer.

he looked better than bogans. If rose ever develops the vision to see when he cuts to the basket, he'll be a lot better than bogans. If we ever got a starting shooting guard, this team would have a lot of depth. Until then, our bench sucks.

THIS

Ronnie Brewer continues to improve
Brewer has a terrible +/- on the night largely due to a stretch where Carmel Anthony decided to utterly dominate us. Fortunately, that wasn't at the end of the game. However, Brewer still made a positive impact on the game and the Bulls are getting more comfortable with him the offense and where he likes the ball.

One thing which still upsets me is there was a play where Brewer had the open baseline and his man sleeping on defense. He nods at Watson, who doesn't appear to see him, then he points to the basket to indicate he wants to make the baseline cut for the alley oop. Watson still doesn't see him. After about a full three seconds (which is a basketball eternity) the play closes down and he no longer has the chance to make the cut.

Brewer's out there ready to do his thing, but the Bulls aren't familiar enough with him to find those plays. There's been multiple opportunities for us to see an incredible alley oop throw down to Brewer that the Bulls just haven't seen, and they need to figure out how to take advantage of those chances.
