Most ride the bench for multiple years and then emerge in for their real rookie seasons after being drafted.

Not entirely rare but not entirely probable that a mid-first-round draft pick would have this kind of impact the year he was drafted.

Sure if the coach is willing to play them. We've had Josh Wolf (8-3-19) and CJ Brown in 1998, Carlos Bocanegra (ROTY) 2000, Damin Ralph (ROTY) 2003, Nate Jaqua (4-4-12) 2004 and Chris Rolfe (8-5-21) in 2005

Of course this year Austin Berry (ROTY) 2012
