Joining Rose on the Sophomore team are Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley, Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon, Minnesota Timberwolves forward/center Kevin Love, New Jersey Nets center Brook Lopez, New York Knicks forward Danilo Gallinari, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, and a pair of teammates from the Memphis Grizzlies – center Marc Gasol and guard O.J. Mayo.

Forward Omri Casspi, Evans’ teammate in Sacramento, joins him on the Rookie team, which also includes Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson, Detroit Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jonny Flynn, Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden, and San Antonio forward/center DeJuan Blair.
.

wow. Besides the stars, rose and evans, look at the immense talent gap. REally? wow. if the rookies win this year, it will be quite a feat.

rose, lopez, gallinari, beasely, and mayo/gordon with defensive minded role player supporting them, i think would be an amazing team, maybe enough enough to contend for a championship in a year or so.

Should be a win for the Sophomores. I hope Rose will become the MVP of the game.

I sure hope Taj Gison wins the MVP.

There is NO WAY he comes even close to it. He has better odds for fouling out than anything.

Congrats to Rose and Gibson - both deserve it and I hope neither disappoints us. I hope Rose is as aggressive as he has been lately (unlike last year).

That Sophmore team will really murder that Rookie team.

Great effort for Gibson to make it. I wonder what odds you could have gotten for it at the start of the year.

Re:

I think if Blake Griffin wasn't injured Taj would still be on the team. They'd just kick off someone like Jerebko. How the heck did HE make it anyway? Good for him I guess. Same for Taj (though Taj has been far better than Jerebko). Regardless, this should be a ridiculously lopsided game. Sophs are by far better at every single position. Even if Curry goes off from 3 and Blair grabs nearly every single rebound, the Sophs just have too much talent. I'm also hoping Rose gets the MVP. It'll help him (future all star selections) and the team (potential FAs).
