it's going to be a defensive juggernaut. i see our defense rivalling that of garnet's celtics and billup's pistons.

I think we'd have some defensive woes with that squad, but I don't think it'd be that bad. Gordon generally tries on defense, Rose will probably become a good defender with practice.

Amare has the ability to be a good defender, maybe he doesn't have the drive, or maybe he'd improve that one's hard to say.

How do you propose the Bulls go about keeping Gordon and then making a move for Bosh or Amar'e in which Gordon's new contract is not part of the deal? Are you hoping we simply sign someone in the 2010 offseason?

We have plenty of assets to go after a big with this summer. We have roughly $25 mill in expiring contract, two first round picks and some young talent in TT to land a top tier pf. If a team decides to deal their star, we will be one of the front runners to land them. Our concern will be how to stay under the LT next year with resigning BG, other than that we have all the assets to make a deal.

Well I don't want the Bulls to get Amare either but ha I don't think it would be the end of the world if they did make that trade unless he gets injured like Larry Johnson and it completely changes his game. However Bosh would be the only PF I would be comfortable trading Tyrus for, I still think he will be good in the correct situation. Ben Gordon should be signed unless they have another scorer to bring in to help out. The luxury tax should not even be discussed by Chicago fans ubelievable that Reinsdorf is so cheap.

i say we sign BG to a 7-8 mil contract and put him as 6th man, and then try and package Hinrich, Tyrus, pick(s), and whaetever else that makes salaries match for Amare or Bosh. Roster...

Rose/Roberson or draft pick or FA
Salmons/Gordon
Deng/Tim Thomas or draft pick or FA
Bosh or Amare/draft pick or FA
Noah/Miller

i think with the right signings or draft picks, the team is deadly. Not sure how the the teams salary would turn out with this though.

I think hinrich tt and da ability to give teams cap space would be enough to get bosh or amre if their available but I don't know if id want to give up that much for amre bosh yes but tyrus is my second favorite player on the team and I think he's only goin too get better if push came to shove I guess I would trade TT for him but I have. A feeling it would end up being something we regret

Who ever doesn't want Amare needs to look for the exit. Rose, Gordon, Amare sounds good and the talent we got in between sounds nice too. But why are we thinking about 2010? This year don't you guys have faith? D-Rose + NBA palyoffs = something special.. You never know, I sense greatness in this young stud.

it's not that i dont like amare, i just dont believe he is the propper guy for the bulls. I believe that we would devote ourselves to something that i dont believe could win a championship.

I like gordon. I really really reallly like rose. I think they're a great duo. However i do have questions about Amare. We are a team that thrives through fastbreaks, but is that our future? I'm not sure.... Vinny isn't an amazing coach, and Derrick is a rookie point guard. I believe both will be better able to run teams in the future(or we get a new coach).

Can amare thrive outside of a D'antoni Offense? he didnt earlier this year. Do we want to commit ourselves to D'antoni's offense? Can it win championships?

He can play defense, but i'm not sure why he doesnt. The point is that it is difficult to get him to commit to the defensive end. I remember reading stories about D'antoni's frustration over Amare's unwillingness to play rebound/play defense.

Amare had microfracture surggery. Also he's an asshole. Do we want this guy to get a max contract in a terrible economy? really?

the bulls can score. boy howdy can they score. We need quality bigmen(that can score), but is Amare our guy? is this what this group of people need? really? we need more scoring... really?

NHL.com Quick Pick: Patrick Kane scores early in the first overtime, and the Chicago Blackhawks are the 2010 Stanley Cup champions.
