Good thing he took 18 months off...

What about the bulls getting one more player with superstar potential? Boozer can be traded for someone really good and Mirotic is on his way.

Rose is not a shooter, and never will be. He's a slasher, and as we saw tonight, when he gets double teamed it's light out for the Bulls. They need a second scorer to make opponents pay for double and triple teaming Rose everytime he drives to the basket.

Rose needs to start passing the ball and stop hogging. Boozer should have been playing more in The 4th qtr. He is the only consistent scoring option right now.

I agree Boozer is our best scorer right now, but he's not consistent. I would actually like to see Butler get more scoring opportunities. He's smart, confident, athletic, and has the potential to be an All-Star player.

Boozer isn't getting consistent touches. If he did he would be a consistent scoring threat every game. The team forgets he's out there and I can't blame him for that.

It's tough to balance it really. Rose does need to play with confidence even if he's playing like crap. Conservative Rose doesn't help him get back to NBA MVP form. His turnovers will go down with the next couple weeks when he gets comfortable again. When he finally starts getting some foul calls at the basket, his FG% will go up. His shot will come back. He shot it well in preseason so we know it's there, he's just got to find that rhythm at 100% speed again.

But you see, the truth is, the season was over when John Paxson commented in a recent lowkey interview that his big plan and commitment this season and the upcoming summer are to set himself up for the draft................
The draft....... The draft.
not a star..........not.... a....STAR........

The draftttttttt............

You see, purhaps Derrick knows and isnt too happy about the F.O's slowpaced-standpat plan that after years of this same plan, isnt looking too effective these days......If this is true and Rose knows and doesnt like his boss's big plan,, what kind of things could that do to our star Derrick Rose's moral and motivation MENTALLY out there on the court??????................
An unhappy employee isnt a productive employee......
hmmmmmm

See a change in his court personality?

Theres a storm a brewin in the background and it might get ugly.......

Thibbs and management, beef................
Rose..and..management......BEEF?????????.......
Could be one starting that hasnt hit the media yet behind the scenes that 99% of the population dont know yet....

My conspiracy theory is that the frying pan butter may be startin to sizzle a little.
Someone better get a lid.

:shifty:

These teams that Pax has built over the years and has continued to around Rose now, kind of remind me of those 76er teams built around Allen Iverson back in the days.
Average and slightly above average roll players built around a......SCORING FIRST.POINT GUARD....
Amazingly, they reached the finals...........but just to get smashed......

The way i see it is...................If Allen Iverson couldnt reach the mountain top as the best player on his rollplaying STARLESS team,
Then how in the muthafuckin Hell is Rose going too?

Allen couldnt do it and Rose aint on A.I's level.

Rose aint even close to A.I yet............Plus A.I scored double the points Rose can.

Make sense?

NBA players typically reach pre-injury form two years after ACL tears, regardless of when they step back on the court. I've always penciled in the all-star break as Rose's true return to pre-injury form.

CP3 didn't even tear his ACL, but was not himself until two years after his torn meniscus. He was still good, but was a shell of his former self.

If you guys think Rose looks bad now, just imagine if he would have came back last season in the thick of a playoff race & the actual playoffs. He would have looked horrible trying to keep pace with playoff speed, even worse than he's looking now trying to keep pace with regular season speed.

A championship was not in the FO's plans last season, considering the moves/non-moves that they made. There is a case to be made that a championship is not in their plans this season, considering their "prize" off-season pickup was Mike Dunleavy.

That's an overstatement.
