That question is just going around Twitter:

Game of 21:

MJ in his prime against Rose. Rose starts having the Ball. Make it take it!

Who wins and what would the score be like?

Discuss!

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
21-3 MJ. Maybe Rose scores a couple more times, but let's be real. MJ would kill him. MJ in his prime was an amazing defender, crazy athletic (maybe not as athletic as Rose, but the difference isn't that big), and could score 37 a game. All that aside, Rose can't guard that fadeaway.

Jordan would win 21 to 0 and Rose might get injured in the process.
Or quit basketball all together because he hates to lose.

The same applys for Pippen vs. Rose 1 on 1 game to 21.
Pip would make the Ewing dunk seem like small potatoes in comparison to what his dunk on Rose would look like.
Pippen vs. Rose 21-0 because if Jordan holds Rose scoreless then Pippens defense (which is slightly better than Jordans) would most certainly shut Rose down.
Plus I can't imagine Rose being able to defend Pip and stop him in the paint. Pippen would have a dunkfest and snatch Roses heart out his chest.

Sorry Derrick :dunno:

There is nothing to discuss here. Rose can't do anything with Jordan...

Let's see, the greatest player of all time and is 6-6 versus a 23 year old MVP Derrick Rose that is only 6-3... not a fair game of 21 don't you guys think?

I think Scottie would beat him up worse than Jordan.

Jordan would spot Rose 20 points and still win.... by 20 <3

I absolutely love Derrick Rose, but there was nobody in the NBA who could even stay in front of Jordan until his first retirement. He was absolutely unstoppable. I think it'd be more interesting to compare Rose to some of the other current star point guards who're similar in size. Seeing him and Russ Westbrook play a game of 21 would be awesome.

Pretty early to make this comparisons.I wouldn't do this even in a hypothetical game.Plus you haven't seen DRose in his prime yet.
