This should be the future of the NBA Point Guard rivalries.....well see though.

As far as Wall, after seeing Rose beat him down last weekend, he's not ready for Rose or Rondo yet. haha

Rondo is a damn good player, like him or not. That said, Chris Paul? Deron Williams? The future is bright for them too...don't forget Mr. Wall. The future looks good at the point guard position. Unfortunately, not a lot of centers good enough to compliment their games though...

I like Rondo's game but he is not in the same class as Rose. I think Rose is going to take to another level this year. If he improves his 3pt shot and his defense then watch out. All of the other PG's listed (Deron, CP3, Rondo & Wall) cannot guard Rose.

I can't listen to the mix now since I'm in a computer lab, but here's my two cents on Rajon Rondo - I don't think he's ever going to be an elite player or point guard. He is one of the top 20 players in the league (very arguably) but to put him and Rose at the top is a bit naive... not saying the guy who made this mix is doing that... but yeah

Chris Paul
Deron Williams
John Wall
Brandon Jennings
Stephen Curry
Tyreke Evans

And, obviously, Derrick Rose... all have tremendous upside over Rondo. The guy is a freak of nature when it comes to speed and cutting the lanes and creating for teammates... but he just has these *huge* hands... he is never going to be a good shooter... and that has a lot with being a great point guard.

Rose and those other guys are "the future of the NBA" point guards... but since we are talking about the future of the NBA... Guys like Brandon Roy, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, and even 26 year-old LeBron James should be mentioned too.

Yeah, I phrased this to get more views.

**** Rondo!
Agreed.

Rose has the 3pt shot, he just needs to get more confidence and higher volume and his defense has been improving.

Yeah, Rondo has too many limitations on his game to enhance him and he seems arrogant / reluctant to fix these issues.

I was really annoyed at the amount of people overrating Rajon and I decided to make a comparison mix.

Best PG's in the NBA is Deron Williams and Chris Paul, they are like 1a and 1b IMO, I love Rose but it would be FLAT OUT BIAS for me to put him ahead of Williams and Paul, those two are still the best PG's in the NBA with Rondo and Rose battling it out for MAYBE #3, Veterans like Tony Parker and Steve Nash have been getting overlooked over the last few years I guess because they are not as flashy or athletic as the new generation of PG's but they are both still Top 5-7 PG's in the NBA IMO,

but anyway Rondo is a good player, people are trying to downgrade the guy because they want everyone to put Rose over him I guess, Rondo is a damn good PG, I like Rose better personally but that does not mean that Rondo is not a good player

I am a big fan of Jennings game as well as Wall, I think they both will be in the discussion very quickly as far as Top PG's in the NBA, The NBA is loaded with talented young PG's, all are extremely quick and athletic

And Rose hasn't shown that he can guard any of the guards listed. Rondo had his coming out party against Derrick Rose. Damn near averaged a triple double for the playoff series. So I don't think that proves anything much.

Rondo is great, because he is the high end if traditional PG with his only flaw being mid-long range shooting. The ethic is there, and he gives his his best.

Paul is great, because he is the modern PG with extra gears to push himself and his team.

Deron is great, because he is the physical PG who has uncanny floor awareness.

Rose is great, because he is the new prototype of PG with a ceiling unmatched by his peers at this moment. That's why guys like John Wall are so hyped, and Wall has the skill to match Rose, we are just waiting on that ethic and dedication to show up.

I know people love the Rondo vs Rose debate, but to me, it's apples and oranges. Different styles, systems, skills, and roles all together for each one. None of which are bad at all, and with the right team, anyone of them can dominate. Rondo had his big 3 and made a ton out of it and the Bulls will have the same for Rose, if all goes well. Wall.... IDK WTH Washington is trying to do, but there is a ton of time for him, and he may very well develop into his own form of PG.

You make it sound like he was a prepubescent teen. He sucked defensively and it was inexcusable to be that bad. He was so bad, he made Gordon look better in comparison, which is really bad. Not all rookies come into the league playing that badly defensively, and he still has quite a few problems on that side of the ball.

There is a chance that Wall could be the best of them all...that said, I hesitate to use the word "great" to describe certain players. Of that group you named, Paul is the only one that I feel comfortable calling great, Deron Williams...maybe but not quite as sure. Chris Paul is the only one in that group who was a legit MVP candidate in his best year. The others are still a notch below a healthy Chris Paul in my opinion

Ironically Rose and Rondo have the exact same weaknesses, of course Rondo has the better team around him but I am not even sure the Celtics win a Championship without Rondo and they damn sure would not have made it back to the Championship last season without Rondo, again I like Rose more but I think it is unfair when people trying to talk down on Rondo as if he is not a good PG

Saying Rondo is the future of the NBA is like somebody saying that Kevin Johnson is going to be the future of the NBA back in 1990...

I never said Rondo was the future, the Future of the NBA is Kevin Durant and he proved that by carrying Team USA to an Gold Medal this past Summer when everyone thought that team had NO CHANCE at a Gold Medal

I can respect that, however I wouldn't hesitate to use the word "great" like you would, but thats because I use the word by it's definition, and not buy a "guy-meaning". LOL!

I think Rose is better than Rondo but when I look at the thread title, I look at it as a possible future where the Bulls and Celtics are both relevant. Id very much like that. Even though Rose is the better player, that doesnt mean that Rose vs Rondo matchups wont be fun, meaningful, or that Chicago will be better than Boston. In the future there could be a lot riding on this matchup--more than who is the better PG-- and this would be good for the NBA.

one thing i've noticed about john wall: he doesn't have the amazing change of speed ability that rose has, and i think that could hinder him if he can't develop that. right now he's just straight up running fast which can only take you so far.
