Bulls guard Derrick Rose underwent successful surgery earlier today on his left anterior cruciate ligament. More information regarding Rose’s prognosis will be provided early next week.

With Chicago's luck, Rose will come back in March, the Bulls will be the 8 seed and face Miami.

That would be the full 8 months, I don't expect Rose to be out until the all-star break. More than likely he will return around Christmas time to 2nd week of January. However, he won't be fully 100% himself until probably around the playoffs.

He'll be "back" by Mid-January.

and by "back", I mean he'll be physically on the court by then; mentally is another story.

At this point not hoping for a speedy recovery more than an effective one. He has to come back and be 100% physically. He's not going to be as explosive no matter what, but you don't rush this kind of thing...

I'm glad Rose got his surgery done right away without waiting around...
GLAD HE'S OFFICIALLY ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY.

I wish Deng would get his surgey out of the way, but he's determined to play in the Olympics.
Its his choice, his career and much power to him. I just hope he doesn't come back from Europe in worse shape then when he left....
