Rose's Goal: Best PG and Best Player in the League

Derrick Rose was asked to describe his expectations for the 2009-10 season and he revealed his lofty hopes.

"To be the best player in the league at my position, and hopefully be the best player in the NBA," said Rose. "There's no point of playing basketball if you don't want to be the best -- or doing anything if you don't want to be the best. So that's my goal for next season."

All I want to say is that Sky is the limit for this kid and if he has dedication and passion, I don't think anything is going to stop him getting there.

Here's hoping that he DOES get there....and soon.

It's what every basketball player shouls say and he says that as much.

Realistically, the best he'll ever be is top 5-10 type player, unless something we don't see happens to some guys, like Lebron flyinf a plane into Kobe or something like that.
