Some pretty serious fisticuffs here. I am saddened by the police dept. "still looking for others" in the video. Not sure how Denver runs their Pee Wee baseball program but my child had a roster of signups. 7 year olds simply cant sign themselves up. Why not check the roster signups? That would lead directly to perp. Unless random dudes are showing up to 7 yr. old little league games???

Any other takeaways from this video.

P.S
People are crazy.

My take from this is that you are not required to be smart, kind, or responsible in order to be a parent.

There are people everywhere who are self entitled morons who are raising self entitled morons.

These people think they are more important than anyone else, or anyone else's children and they obviously were never taught a thing about discipline, good sportsmanship, or treating others with respect. Now they are passing that along to their children who will, unfortunately, grow up thinking that sort of action is "acceptable".

A Royal Rumble is an over the top rope battle royal. This was not a Royal Rumble, not even close.

I'd be lying if I said a boring thing like baseball didn't need something else to make it fun but little league? C'mon, man. And 13 year old umpires? Bad idea in itself.

Been to plenty of these type youth games myself and you can always pick out those parents who seem to have way too much vested in such a game. I imagine they're the type who go home and beat their kids up if they perform poorly. They're a special kind of pathetic.

Parents are what is wrong with youth sports. The trouble parents are easy to spot. Half the time they do not even know the rules of the game. They just think their kid is a star.

When I ran a travel youth soccer program I would tell the parents before the first practice. If you yell at opposing refs, parents, or players; your kid is off the team with no refund.

I can not tell you how many times I had opposing parents and coaches get a stick up their ass when we played them. Always complained aboot the way my kids were playing. Finally I got tired of the bitching and moaning, and we started running up the scores. Told the players and parents they want to complain about how we play; I'll really give them a reason to *****.

Every year, on every team there is one or two youngins with parents trying to live through their playing days. It bugs the shit out of me. The best kids on every team are always the ones with proper mix of great parenting and absolute love for the game.
We emphasize FUN. And we win many games but we all have FUN. These are the times when the kid learns the game and decides if he even likes it or not. An asshole parent will only make the kid hate the game.
Save the 2 a days for high school.
I do however think multiple times a season how much I would like to stiff jab some parents though, but I always refrain.

When I coached I put emphasis on 3 things. 1st Respect the game, 2nd development, and 3rd have fun. I would tell parents my job is not to teach your kids to win, and if that's important to you I'm not the coach for you; however, if you want your player to get better and develop a solid skillset, respect for the game, and have fun I'm your guy.

I have coached basketball, soccer, and baseball in the town were I live. My sons stsrted playing hockey at a town 2 hours away, and it is a relied to be only play 1 spoetnin the town we live. Parents here are absolutely ridiculous, and majority of them could not teach a sport let alone play it. I have seen coaches and parents thrown out of games ranging from u8-u12. We had to ask a parent to calm down at a u5 game or they were going to be asked to leave. Parents cannot control themselves for the most part at youth games. It is crazy.

I stopped coaching cause of small town politics and all the BS that came with it. One ref always asks when I'm coming back to coach; always points out how respectful my players are and the respect I shown to the opponents and refs by the players, parents, and myself. I still get asked by the kids and parents when I'm coming back, and i just say well my boys play hockey 2 hours away, and that is their passion, so I probably wont be coaching in town anymore.

There was a parent on my sons u8 baseball team that would just chew his kid out after every game. It was crazy; I'd laugh when he would tell me what the kids were doing wrong. I said yeah I remeber when I was 7 or 8 I was Ken Griffey Jr, and knew everything about the game. He stopped talking to me after that. Haha

Its sad man. This Dad on our team said he "wasted 400 on a one week mini camp" because his son was striking out at 40mph on the machine IN PrACTICE! I said your son is the best hitter on the team, what was the machine set at in camp? He says 55! His son had to re learn the 39 we set it at for 6 to 8 yrs of age.

Now I know why my mom and dad always sat away from other parents when I was younger.
